You believe independent oversight is good. How do you feel about more regular health inspections of abortion facilities? @ilyseh #prolife xitter.cf/ilyseh/status/81636224…
Replying to @TheRightsWriter
In fairness, I wasn't applying 2 b ON Ethics Committee just suggesting independent oversight is a good thing. You disagree?
President Trump says New Mexico should change its name to New America.
This is better than $2 a gallon gas, ending forever wars, mass deportations.
“Marked.” That’s how this online cancellation works, right?
I just cast my ballot for James Talarico.
As a second-generation Indian American, I am thoroughly disgusted by the xenophobia, racial resentment, and increasingly brazen attacks on my identity. My family has contributed to the American story through hard work, sacrifice, and an unwavering belief in the opportunities this nation promises. I am every bit as American as anyone else, and I will not tolerate being treated as a perpetual foreigner in the country I call home.
I implore every eligible Texan to get out and vote. This election is about the kind of state and country we are prepared to defend—and the principles we refuse to surrender.

Fake and … candidate James Talarico supports fake and … Ukraine regime.
Talarico calls sending your tax dollars to Zelenskyy’s corruptocracy “a cost-saving measure. If we can stop this aggression, if we can stop Putin in Ukraine, then we're not going to have to stop him elsewhere.”
We have to fight Putin “over there, so we don’t have to fight him here.”

“As much as Kirk hated Hitler, he did not see FDR as a viable alternative. Succumbing to the draft in the late summer of 1942, Russell Amos Kirk, B.A., M.A., endured in the military the only way he knew how: by spending all of his free time reading. Before shipping off to training at Camp Custer in Michigan (he would spend much of the war as a company clerk in the desert wastes of Utah), Kirk purchased every work of Plato and the Stoics that he could find. From his childhood to his death, he kept a copy of Aurelius’s Meditations close to him. As in the rest of his life, it would serve as his greatest comfort during the war. As he wrote in a personal letter, “”’everything in Christianity is Stoic’”
Note to all Christians (and anyone of goodwill): This is how believers handle disagreements with friends and others who have shown their personal decency, especially when spurred to denounce them by those who display little or none.
I said that I had not seen my friend @seanmdav defend Tucker since Tucker's views diverted from my own. I have zero problem saying I disagree with my friend Sean here (see how we can have different views yet refrain from accusing each other of being an "op"? That is something that comes from Lindsey and Michael O'Fallon and those who cultishly believe everything they say. Just because people disagree does not mean its an "op").
I HAVE spoken about my disagreements with Tucker's current trajectory a number of times. I have also shared why I am not going to condemn Tucker. And I have tried to help confused onlookers understand why so many in conservative media have been deeply torn about Tucker because of his past great kindnesses to so many.
So here is my story.
When I found out I my cancer had been upgraded to Stage Four, you can imagine how desperate and scared I was. I had been told that none of the immunotherapies that have been developed for CRC apply to me. I would have to depend on the same old chemo regimen that has left so many people in my situation dead within a few years.
Out of desperation, I submitted my records for the @ImmunityBio trial. Twice. But I heard nothing back.
At about my lowest and most fearful point, I heard an interview Tucker did with @DrPatrick and a cutting edge FDA trial they were doing in colon cancers. I didn't know Tucker well, but I had his cell phone number from the time I appeared on his Fox News program. I was embarrassed to ask for his help, but once you reach Stage Four, you pretty much have no shame.
I texted and asked if perhaps he would be willing to put me in touch with someone at ImmunityBio who might review my records again.
He immediately replied, "Forget that, I'm just going to call and tell them to admit you to the trial." And he did. A couple months later, I was flying out to Los Angeles for my first round of treatment with Anktiva, Dr. Patrick's cutting edge immunotherapy.
We won't know for some time, of course, whether it prove to prolong or even save my life. But we do know it is the only hope we had at the darkest moment in our families' life. So despite our disagreement with many of Tucker's views these days, if I am alive in ten years, I can assure you that my husband and children will bless the fact that we knew him.
So I understand that you and @ConceptualJames and @SovMichael and @DefiyantlyFree think nothing else should matter when their mob wants a struggle session and demands denoucements, but I have explained in the past you why I am not going to oblige you. And I'm not going to oblige now either.

A good word to “missionaries” headed for Orthodox Christian lands.
So we originally were supposed to go to the Hagia Sophia but got diverted and ended up going to Athos through Germany. Long story.
I picked our new seats. I picked my row because it was empty.
This couple showed up and sat down in my row and I was all bummed because I wanted to sleep. We have been going little sleep for days now and Subdeacon Seraphim reminded me “St John of Shanghai and San Francisco slept
In a chair”……so I stopped my negative thoughts and repented.
I turned to the couple and asked them where they were going and they told me they were missionaries for Calvary Chapel. I was once Calvary chapel.
My interest peaked I said “Where?”.
“Georgia” they replied.
“Why are you missionaries to one of the most ancient Christian nations on the planet” I countered causing surprise on their face.
What followed was a lengthy conversation about my journey through evangelism to Orthodoxy, my cancer diagnosis and pilgrimage…their journeys through evangelism where I found out the wife was Russian and I saw the love she had for Orthodoxy despite being Protestant.
I pulled one of the two books I brought out of my bag. St Gabriel
I shared his story and prayed that while they were in Tblisi St Gabriel would intercede for them.
Tblisi was where they were going.
I told the husband who I know in my heart is being led to Orthodoxy,
“When you hit a wall because Calvary chapel won’t allow you to fully heal and achieve Theosis, come home”
I sensed his wife was already there and ready to embrace the church of her kin and blood once more.
What are the odds that one of the two books I brought taught them the testimony of the Saint in the city they were going to for missionary work? There are no coincidences/
Admitting America bombed an all-girls elementary school is less likely to get out the vote for the midterms than pretending to deport Ilhan Omar.
(I’m not opposed to the Omar investigation!)

Abdul El-Sayed eating snacks at a gas station is the most authentic and relatable political stunt since Paul Ryan, Eric Cantor, and Kevin McCarthy launched their Young Guns pizza and politics tour.
We get to know @AbdulElSayed a bit differently, over popcorn and Gatorade at a gas station.
This is PART 1.
Second part to follow later today.

Congress created a monster in Ukraine
🚨 NOW: Zelensky has OFFICIALLY gone full spoiled brat mode
ZELENSKY: I feel betrayed by the US
Is he serious?
WE fund HIS war machine to the tune of $175 BILLION, President Trump works for over 1.5 years to try and end the war to HIS obstruction — and Zelensky has the gall to accuse America of betraying him?
CUT HIM OFF THEN!
I'm with @ElonMusk and Donald Trump: Ukraine needs a new leader, perhaps one who might be a little more grateful and actually try to end the war rather than CLING TO POWER

Saint Magdalena reposed in the Lord on October 15, 1962, holding a candle in her hand and making the sign of the Cross until her last breath.
“What difference does it make if they smash statues of the Virgin Mary and angels? They aren’t biblical!”
But that ideology leads churches to kick a Bible — like Crossroads Church in Cincinnati. Christians have been killed for refusing to do this! Reverence for God, including physical items that represent holy things, matters.
Behold, the new springtime of evangelism.
In the 1970s, among people who said that they had been raised Catholic -- here were their adult outcomes:
40% retained and attending weekly
33% retained+seldom/never
15% left the Church
12% retained+monthly
Same numbers today:
15% retained and attending weekly
40% retained+seldom/never
38% left the Church
8% retained+monthly
Today, about three quarters of people born Catholic have either left the Church or still say that they are Catholic but report that they attend Mass seldom or never.
A Roman Catholic parish in Belarus ignored Pope Leo’s guidance on the dangers of AI use to generate an “icon” of the recently canonized Carlos Acutis.
Orthodoxy requires icon creators to pray continuously during the icon writing process. Heaven knows what ChatGPT’s view of “god” might be, but it isn’t traditionally Christian.
⛪ Belarus has blessed its first AI-generated religious icon
The icon depicts Carlo Acutis, an Italian teenager who was canonized in 2025 and became known as the “Cyber Apostle.”
The icon was installed in a Catholic church in Novolukoml, where Archbishop Tadeusz Kondrusiewicz blessed it on October 11.
The move has sparked debate on social media, with some believers arguing that AI-generated images should not be used for prayer.
If your religion motivates you to smash images of Christian holy things that uplift those who see them, who is your “god”?
What makes news outlets consider Billy Crystal’s rank atheism newsworthy? He hosted the Academy Awards nine times, won five Emmy awards, and has an estimated net worth of $60 million, but he feels God hasn’t been fair with him?
He’s right: He didn’t deserve half this much grace.
