What does one do with all the unread books? You slay them. Read them cover to cover. One book at a time. And in my case, dump them if they are not to my expectations. No time to read books that don’t hold interest. Way more interesting books to read.

The joys, even benefits, of reading. 📖
📚9 ways reading helps battle #depression, loneliness & #anxiety: ✏️1. A great story makes you feel supported. You may feel heard or understood in what the book’s messages are. ✏️2. Physical act of holding / feeling a book / e-reader brings the mind to the present.

Tears are so much part of my life...I'm frequently moved by music, fiction, film and very often by the incredible human beings I work with. The eyes well up far too easily. But here's something more thoughtful on tears

One thing I've learned in the book business is that some books sell and many don't but every book ends up mattering to someone or other. Somebody out there is reading a paperback which sold only 50 copies and finding hope in its pages. Books are the only things which never fail.
