i think you are looking at yourself through your current non-depressed lens. be kind to your past self
i lost my entire 20s to mdd/gad because i thought i was trying my hardest when, looking back at it, i really was not. i was making endless excuses for why i should let myself get away with doing the bare minimum, then getting frustrated with how it wasn’t working

MY MESSAGE HAS BEEN TWISTED Even though my media office has issued a responsible clarification on the situation, I still find it necessary to add my voice to address the distortion of my message by political opponents. I deeply appreciate Nigerians in the diaspora who work tirelessly and make enormous sacrifices to support their families back home. Their remittances pay for school fees, hospital bills, rent, and feeding expenses. Their patriotism and sacrifices deserve our profound respect. I never asked them to abandon their loved ones. My concern is that Nigeria should not remain a country where millions depend on relatives abroad for basic survival. Our goal must be to build a nation that provides jobs, affordable healthcare, quality education, and economic opportunities for its citizens. Political opponents may twist my message, but the truth remains clear: I am not asking Nigerians abroad to abandon their families. I am advocating for a Nigeria that will no longer abandon its own people. God bless Nigerians at home and abroad. God bless Nigeria. -PO

I was a teacher before law school. I couldn’t convince teenagers to wear deodorant. The idea that teachers are convincing kids that they should get sex changes is utterly ludicrous.

Finding the most common UTI-causing organism in a case of UTI. Shocking
When I was an intern in a hospital, I isolated E. Coli from a patient's urine. I became super suspicious. How did E. coli get to this man’s urethra? Until I heard from the nurses that there was something wrong with his anus. To cut this short he was a homosexual who gives and takes penis to the anus. Moral of this: you clearly don't want E. Coli where it shouldn't be. Urethra, kidney anywhere except the intestine.

I wrote a story about how basically every man I know in my station of life — millennial, in a long term relationship, in possession of a fake email job — does all the cooking in their relationship, which is something I have a lot of theories about.

I keep seeing Polish politicians jump on the immigration bandwagon, and it’s almost entertaining. If immigration isn’t an issue thanks to your policies, why do you keep bringing it up? Your own prosecutors just revealed that data harvested from Polish phones with Israeli Pegasus spyware was accessible to its Israeli maker. Who knows what sensitive information leaked? That should be the priority. But it’s also rich, because I’m old enough to remember how many Poles migrated to other parts of Europe and were treated terribly. I’m old enough to remember Poland being used to push Brexit sentiment in the UK. I’m old enough to remember Poles being bullied, abused, and denied jobs in Britain. So watching them recycle the same talking points once used against them is pathetic.
To usłyszeli ode mnie liderzy Europy w Brukseli.

What I can’t stop thinking about is that they did all of this right as a high profile story about sexual assault at an Ivy is in the national spotlight. These dudes really do NOT give a fuck.
CNN has more on the U Chicago rape. The reporting on this incident keeps getting worse and worse. This is sick stuff! "Shortly after, Lara said her friend was kissing the man near a wall before the pair disappeared. She started searching for her friend and later found his friends outside a bathroom in the basement, but the man and her friend were not with them. The man’s friends told Lara to look upstairs, so she and her other friend checked there, on the porch and outside, before returning to the basement bathroom. When they returned, Lara said she saw the man’s friends “banging on the door,” “cheering,” and saying, “they want to get in there.”" -- "At this point, the group of men told Lara that their friend and her friend were inside the bathroom, she told CNN. One of the men allegedly grabbed Lara’s other friend, told her not to worry and that the two were “having fun” in the bathroom, Lara said. Though the door was locked, Lara said she found a way to shimmy it open and broke into the bathroom. She said she immediately told the man he needed to get off her friend and leave, but the man initially refused to leave. Her friend was slumped on the bathroom floor, partially clothed, saying “get me out of here” and “I don’t want to be here,” Lara said, adding she had never seen her friend in that state before." -- "When they got outside of the fraternity house, Lara said her friends went to sit on the sidewalk. She noticed the same group of men pointing and laughing at the woman who said she was assaulted, Lara said. The men then point in the direction of the fraternity house and say the man she’s looking for was trying to get back into the party. When Lara looks in the direction of the fraternity house, she says the men took off running, and so she took off after them. At one point, the men slow down and start laughing at Lara, and one of them takes out his phone and starts recording her, she told CNN. --- "Lara said a campus police officer witnessed her chasing the man and asked her what happened. She said she took the officer back to her friend to get her help. The friend would later tell Lara she remembered there were two men in the bathroom at one point, one of whom “was pinning her down” and sexually assaulted her, Lara told CNN. The victim went to the University of Chicago Hospital for treatment, Chicago police said."

This very tweet is the problem. Throwing around derogatory words like kuffs Pple shouldn't speak out so you can keep abusing them in private. Oshi
If MSSN have issues, we can discuss amongst ourselves. Holding hands with the kuffs to bash MSSN (as long as they were not oppressed) is a sign of hypocrisy. Perhaps you do not know, but their issue is not with MSSN. Their issue is with our deen as a whole.

Peaceful protests NEVER work. Liberalism made everyone believe that they do but everything the people got were from violent protests. Revolution is the only way.
People need to understand one thing when it comes to the student protests: when you protest peacefully for over 4 months and the government not only doesn’t acknowledge that but also mocks you there is no other choice but to use violence. It isn’t pretty but it is very necessary.

Jesse Eisenberg discussed the chaotic process of working with Kieran Culkin while making 'A Real Pain' at a #BFILondonFilmFestival Screen Talk on Sunday: "We didn’t know if Kieran was ever gonna show up to Poland... [He will] sign on to your thing, but then he decides he likes potatoes instead." Culkin is "worth the risk because he’s so great," but Eisenberg said producer Emma Stone had to chaperone Culkin on the plane to Poland. "She sent me a video of him going through customs saying, ‘We are here.’ And then he was still late." 🔗: hollywoodreporter.com/movies…

I have noted with deep concern the conduct of the ADC campaign team. The attacks directed at me, our presidential candidate His Excellency Peter Obi, and our party, the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), are unnecessary and unhelpful. Rather than focusing on presenting the competence, credibility, and capacity of their own candidate as we have consistently done by placing our credentials and record of achievements before Nigerians, the ADC Presidential Campaign Council appears intent on creating mischief against our party and ticket. This includes attempts to portray us as working for the ruling party or to suggest that we may withdraw from the race in favour of the ADC candidate at the last minute. The ADC-PCC would be better served directing its energy toward rebutting the serious allegations levelled against their candidate by the Vice President, His Excellency Kashim Shettima, instead of targeting me and His Excellency Peter Obi. We are aware that the ADC-PCC may try to mislead our supporters on the eve of the election by claiming that we intend to withdraw in their favour. Let me state clearly and unequivocally: we will not withdraw our candidature for the ADC or any other party. We remain confident in our capacity, competence, and readiness to lead Nigeria. The OK ticket is neither working for nor acting on behalf of the APC or any of its candidates. We see no possibility or reason to withdraw from the presidential race in favour of the ADC candidate or any other. These claims are unfounded and should be treated as such. The APC-led government has failed Nigerians. The ADC offers no better alternative. We believe the OK ticket presents a credible and viable option, backed by proven capacity, a strong track record, credibility, and broad support across both Northern and Southern Nigeria. It is a healing ticket committed to uniting our country and tackling critical challenges in security, education, agriculture, infrastructure, healthcare, the economy, and other key sectors. We believe the NDC remains the most formidable and viable opposition party in the country. I therefore urge all our supporters and well-meaning Nigerians to continue working toward the victory of our great party. Nigeria will be OK. - RMK
