"Stepping into Azim Premji University was a dream come true, but it came with its challenges — adapting to a new environment and overcoming language barriers. Thanks to the supportive faculty and the Language Support Centre, I found my footing.
Beyond academics, the University’s interdisciplinary approach broadened my perspective, allowing me to explore beyond History into Data, Democracy, and Development. The field engagement programme, interactive learning methods and diverse campus initiatives shaped my analytical and communication skills in ways I never imagined.
Today, as a Project Coordinator supporting students from marginalised backgrounds in their academic pursuits, I carry forward the lessons and values the University instilled in me. The journey continues as I now pursue my Master’s in Society and Culture at IIT-Gandhinagar.
