I can't remember who said this. Every ~franchise player in the NHL now plays with the 2 best players on their team full time. Bouchard missed Draisaitl for most of last year at 5v5, in line combinations + when Draisaitl was injured. That limits his advantage. #LetsGoOilers

Among NHL D with 100+ minutes at 5v5, Bouchard is: 1st in GF/60 (7.44) 6th in GA/60 (0.78) 36th in xGF/60 (3.24) T2nd in xGA/60 (1.65) The offence has been crazy, but the underlying numbers suggest the Oilers should have a 2:1 edge in his minutes - mostly thru great defence.
