I am left feeling the same stillness one feels when finishing the last page of a novel. This long read is a journey filled with strong emotions. Poor Bubba. Props to Mark Warren for managing to have warmth and love outshine the frustration, sadness, and pain. Just, wow. 🫂

Gaza is a showroom and Bill Blair is shopping. What a gruesome and awful thing.

🚨Zomi & Chef Oli's last video shows them cooking meals for Gaza's hungry in @WCKitchen.
They were killed today by Israeli warplanes in #Gaza , in disregard of international laws, echoing the daily killings of Palestinian civilians in Gaza over the past 177 days.

Today @WCKitchen lost several of our sisters and brothers in an IDF air strike in Gaza. I am heartbroken and grieving for their families and friends and our whole WCK family. These are people…angels…I served alongside in Ukraine, Gaza, Turkey, Morocco, Bahamas, Indonesia. They are not faceless…they are not nameless. The Israeli government needs to stop this indiscriminate killing. It needs to stop restricting humanitarian aid, stop killing civilians and aid workers, and stop using food as a weapon. No more innocent lives lost. Peace starts with our shared humanity. It needs to start now.

We got tired of waiting for our local leaders to act 😴
So we're introducing our new pedestrian safety pilot: BRICKS (TM)! 🧱
Thanks to @nicthedoor & @aboutherevideos for creating this video for us!
She’s just rage farming. Nobody that has ever lived in NYC for any length of time thinks street vendors are new. Reminds me of an idiot I saw complaining about “too many tourists” on Madison Avenue slowing him down. Like, dude if you’re actually local, you’d know better.

Haunting words, especially for Canadian Palestinian Muslims with family trapped and starving in Gaza

Jersey barriers deflect cars but bollards stop them. If the goal is pedestrian safety, there is a clear winner. If the goal is aesthetics… it’s the same winner. I have no idea why the jersey barriers are still there.
