The future of golf starts with the people we bring into it. Brian Laurent joined us on Leadership on the Links to discuss how superintendents can inspire the next generation - and how the Super-Scratch Foundation is helping future turf professionals pursue their careers. Every superintendent has an opportunity to introduce someone to this profession, invest in their development and show them what’s possible. Who are you encouraging to take the next step? 🎧 Listen here: bloomgolfpartners.com/podcas… #LeadershipOnTheLinks #SuperScratch #GolfCourseSuperintendents

We remember the legendary commentator, Murray Walker, who was born (on this day - 10th October - in 1923. #F1 "There are a lot of IFs in Formula One, in fact IF is Formula One backwards!" We miss you Murray, we really do.

"He said he's a girl, therefore he's a girl." This is why comedy is so necessary. A healthy society laughs at absurdity; a sick one takes it seriously.

The golf course is your club’s greatest asset. The superintendent is the leader responsible for protecting it. The scope of this role continues to expand as the game grows. Advocating for your golf course superintendent and maintenance team is a simple step club leaders can take to strengthen the member experience. Larry Hirsh from Golf Property Analysts discusses the value of a superintendent to a club's value, and it may be shocking to some.   🎙️ Hear more about the people who elevate the game on Leadership on the Links: bloomgolfpartners.com/podcas… #LeadershipOnTheLinks #BloomGolfPartners #GolfCourseSuperintendent #GolfLeadership

🚨 HOLY SH*T — THE MOTHERLODE JUST EXPLODED! 🚨 Nick Shirley just uncovered the BIGGEST voter fraud bomb yet: 108 PEOPLE registered to vote at ONE SINGLE ADDRESS — a house that barely exists! A woman proved how insanely easy it is by registering her TWO DOGS… and they VOTED. A dead woman voted FOUR TIMES. This isn’t a glitch. This is a full-blown hijacking of our elections. PASS THE SAVE AMERICA ACT RIGHT NOW BEFORE IT’S TOO LATE!!! Who else is sick of this?! Drop a 🔥 if you want CLEAN elections! Share this everywhere — they can’t hide it anymore! #VoterFraudExposed #SaveAmericaAct #NickShirley #ElectionIntegrity

Pinehurst was not supposed to be about golf. 🌲 In June 1895, a Boston soda fountain magnate named James Walker Tufts toured the Sandhills of Moore County and learned he could buy land there for a dollar an acre. He was troubled that most working people in New England could not afford long winter trips south for their health, and he wanted a place where they could rest and recover on a small income. Landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted drew up plans for a village. Crews planted the first of some 222,000 trees and shrubs. Locals called the new place Tuftown before the name Pinehurst stuck. Tufts described the whole project as "semiphilanthropic." Then Tufts noticed how fast golf was catching on in America. A nine-hole course went in in 1897. In December 1900 he brought in a well-known Scottish golfer, Donald J. Ross, to take charge of everything having to do with the game. Ross stayed at Pinehurst until his death in 1948, and his Pinehurst No. 2 course was completed in 1907. ⛳ The health retreat for ordinary New Englanders became one of the major winter resorts in the United States, and Pinehurst and golf have been close to the same word ever since. Tufts did not live to see how far it went. He died in February 1902, in his apartment at the Carolina Hotel in the village he had started. 🏌️

If you spit gum or Zyn packs in a urinal, you should be banned for life from that golf club. Also beaten with a stick.
Might be the best advice and placement combo of the year
