You know how you entirely avoid a situation about worrying about which races get slotted where on the schedule in regards to the championship???
Have a full season championship so the track at race 33 is the exact same value as the one at race 1 or 7 or 15 or 25 or 36

Tv folks are idiots. Part of the reason sponsors sign on is so they can get tv time. Then they’re not in the playoffs & you wouldn’t even know their car is in the race. That’s bad for the sport but you never hear the geniuses at NASCAR say they’re addressing the issue.

The idea of some drivers not being in contention for the championship in the last race is not a “Game 7 Moment” mindset.

Gosh the TV folks are sure talking a lot about a lot of drivers having a good point day today.
Also mentioning some drivers might not be in contention for the championship at the last race.
