This story went by silently. Only The Spearhead and a few other platforms even ran it. The same Kenya that these NGO bleeding hearts live in, is going to mine the shit out of Mrima Hill and other rare earth mineral areas in Kenya. No muzungu-funded NGO spiel about that. But Dangote announces plans for a refinery in Lamu (much less environmentally destructive than a rare earth mining or refinery facility) and before the feasibility study is even done, Greenpeace Africa is mobilising natives to write think pieces! Just like Dialogue Earth tried to mobilise me 2 years ago to write a hack piece about the Dangote Refinery in Nigeria for $800. I bet these ones are doing it for even less. By the time Kenyans in particular figure out how the world really works and how wicked this imperial "foreign aid" network is, they will physically drag every Kenyan who works for an NGO into the street and carry out the world's largest mass beating.
Kenya Moves To Offer Critical Minerals To US Not content with handing its citizens’ health data on a plate to the United States, and exposing them to a potential Ebola outbreak from infected US citizens, the Western-aligned government of Kenya is now moving to sign off the country’s critical minerals to the US. Kenyan President William Ruto announced this in an interview during the 2026 G7 Summit in France, describing the deal as “mutually beneficial”. Yet history’s verdict is very clear on just how interested the United States is in “benefiting” Africa, and we do not have to look very far back in time. So the question Kenyans must ask is… What is their current leader really up to?

The visa rejection rates in the US for African football fans have been off the charts for the World Cup. This is a scandal of epic proportions for a sports tournament that prides itself on being global and multicultural. This story is not getting nearly enough coverage.

🚨 Absolute madness in the US right now as the Uruguay national team gets pulled to the side of the road and treated like straight-up suspects. They literally just landed for the World Cup and security is already ripping their luggage open on the tarmac with sniffer dogs everywhere Qatar and Russia hosted without this level of paranoia but the "land of the free" is handing out pure humiliation to Global South athletes before a single match is even played, the double standards are screaming.

It's not that AI can't be used to do knowledge work. It's that it's wildly unreliable in bizarre and incomprehensible ways. Things you'd never think it could be possible to mess up are the things that it messes up. Like you ask it download some data and do an analysis, and instead it just completely fabricates a fictional dataset for no reason, and gives you results based on that. Fine if you catch it, but potentially career-ending if you don't. It inserts its own ideas without telling you. It deletes critical paragraphs. These actions would be psychopathic in a colleague, but we're just supposed to accept it because it's a machine.

In 1969, the Black Panthers launched free breakfast programs across the US, feeding thousands of kids before school. The FBI called it a threat. In some cities, police raided kitchens, smashed food, and urinated on supplies to shut them down. A THREAD

Sierra Leone Becomes Latest African Country To Receive US Deportees Sierra Leone has become the latest African nation in a sadly ever-growing list to "temporarily" accept US deportees under US President Donald Trump’s “third-country” deportation program. The West African country joins the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), Rwanda, Uganda, Cameroon, Ghana and others in this strange arrangement, for which the US will reportedly cover all expenses. Yet this arrangement must be called out for the neocolonial insult it is. The US has spent decades waging economic warfare on the Global South, condemning millions of its people to poverty. In their desperation, many of these people have sought refuge in the US and other Western nations by whatever means available to them. But under the most openly racist, imperialist and corrupt administration in US history – emphasis on “openly” – the US has become especially hostile towards its immigrant population over the last 2 years. And now Africa – a continent which has seen the face of Anglo-American terror more than any other part of the Global South – is being used as the US’s de facto dumping ground for its unwanted migrants, under the watchful eye of spineless leaders. It is left to the people of Africa to respond appropriately.

The internet used to be full of websites; there were millions of them and you could browse for hours and come away smarter rather than dumber. Now there are four sites and they've made half the population illiterate. We've destroyed a wonderful thing, and it has destroyed us.
I can't properly describe to anyone under the age of 30 just how cool the Internet was before Amazon, Google, Meta, and Apple turned it all into a walled garden of garbage and commerce.

How Trump Manufactures Consent For His Military Ambition In Nigeria Donald Trump is using Nigeria’s insecurity to sell the idea of deeper U.S. military involvement in the country. His sudden concern for Nigeria is not really about protecting Nigerians but manufacturing consent for another American intervention. By amplifying selected voices, especially religious figures like Rev. Ezekiel Dachomo, calling for U.S. action, he is using real fear, real grief, and real insecurity to push foreign military ambition.

Laptop students typed almost word for word, capturing more total content but processing almost none of it as they went, while the handwriting students physically could not write fast enough to transcribe a lecture in real time, forcing them to decide what actually matters…
A Norwegian neuroscientist spent 20 years proving that the act of writing by hand changes the human brain in ways typing physically cannot, and almost nobody outside her field has read the paper. Her name is Audrey van der Meer. She runs a brain research lab in Trondheim, and the paper that closed the argument was published in 2024 in a journal called Frontiers in Psychology. The finding is brutal enough that it should have changed every classroom on Earth. The experiment was simple. She recruited 36 university students and put each one in a cap with 256 sensors pressed against their scalp to record brain activity. Words flashed on a screen one at a time. Sometimes the students wrote the word by hand on a touchscreen using a digital pen, and sometimes they typed the same word on a keyboard. Every neural response was recorded for the full five seconds the word stayed on screen. Then her team looked at the part of the data most researchers had ignored for years, which is how different parts of the brain were communicating with each other during the task. When the students wrote by hand, the brain lit up everywhere at once. The regions responsible for memory, sensory integration, and the encoding of new information were all firing together in a coordinated pattern that spread across the entire cortex. The whole network was awake and connected. When the same students typed the same word, that pattern collapsed almost completely. Most of the brain went quiet, and the connections between regions that had been alive seconds earlier were nowhere to be found on the EEG. Same word, same brain, same person, and two completely different neurological events. The reason turned out to be something nobody had really paid attention to before her work. Writing by hand is not one motion but a sequence of thousands of tiny micro-movements coordinated with your eyes in real time, where each letter is a different shape that requires the brain to solve a slightly different spatial problem. Your fingers, wrist, vision, and the parts of your brain that track position in space are all working together to produce one letter, then the next, then the next. Typing throws all of that away. Every key on a keyboard requires the exact same finger motion regardless of which letter you are pressing, which means the brain has almost nothing to integrate and almost no problem to solve. Van der Meer said it plainly in her interviews. Pressing the same key with the same finger over and over does not stimulate the brain in any meaningful way, and she pointed out something that should scare every parent who handed their kid an iPad. Children who learn to read and write on tablets often cannot tell letters like b and d apart, because they have never physically felt with their bodies what it takes to actually produce those letters on a page. A decade before her, two researchers at Princeton ran the same fight using a completely different method and ended up at the same answer. Pam Mueller and Daniel Oppenheimer tested 327 students across three experiments, where half took notes on laptops with the internet disabled and half took notes by hand, before testing everyone on what they actually understood from the lectures they had watched. The handwriting group won by a wide margin on every question that required real understanding rather than surface recall. The reason was hiding in the transcripts of what the two groups had actually written down. The laptop students typed almost word for word, capturing more total content but processing almost none of it as they went, while the handwriting students physically could not write fast enough to transcribe a lecture in real time, which forced them to listen carefully, decide what actually mattered, and put it in their own words on the page. That single act of choosing what to keep was the learning itself, and the keyboard had quietly skipped the choosing and skipped the learning along with it. Two studies. Two countries. Same answer. Handwriting makes the brain work. Typing lets it coast. Every note you have ever typed instead of written went into your brain through a thinner pipe. Every meeting, every book highlight, every idea you captured on your phone instead of on paper was processed at half depth. You did not forget those things because your memory is bad. You forgot them because typing never woke the part of the brain that would have made them stick. The fix is the thing your grandmother already knew. Pick up a pen. Write the thing down. The slower road is the faster one.
