Today is my 9 year anniversary djing and organizing events in vr. Just want to take some time to thank the people who led me to where i'm at today. @Aliquem - You are the reason I do this at all. One of the nicest people I know, and a cornerstone of this community. Since basically day one you put me on the decks, alongside probably thousands of other djs that needed someone to believe in them. Salvific (club 808) - you were one of the first people to really push the ceiling on what can be done in VR with events and worlds. I still remember working 20 hours in 2 days at the Rebuff Reality event, and wouldn't change a thing. Dare (Cyberpunk Ravers) - taught me a lot about what this game truly was about. Learning to dodge drama and keep the PLUR mindset. @djlufz - From Volt Dance Club every weekend, then CPR and Underground, You are truly a cornerstone of this community that will never get the credit you deserve. You are someone I'll consider a brother no matter how long it's been, and I'm honored to have shared and paved the way for tons of communities and djs alongside you through the covid years. Matoes - The unsung hero of Underground. You only gave and never asked for a single thing in return. Honestly an inspiration to me through and through, and I'm honored to consider you a brother. @FlyingClaws - You paved the way early on. Trusted me to not only play for GrooVR, but also fully booking the shows. Maxael - You allowed me to dj for 3 full years at King's Quarters letting me meet multiple bigger than life djs. You asked a million times for me to switch to house, but never stopped me from playing some hip hop bangers. Without you, there would be no me. Pankake - You made multiple great maps without recognition for Underground. I will always remember having my birthday party at The Basement. @phantexo - You really paved the way for multi day events here. You have the strength to push through so much shit that has been thrown at you. You are an inspiration not only to me, but to countless people in this community. @momo_vr0001 You put me on at vaultage when I was at my lowest. Along with sharing a really memorable New Years with Void Club, and multiple large festivals including working with jinxxy! You are as beautiful inside as out and I look forward to your return, and what we do together in the future. @itsakiyamamusic - 90s arcade was the first event that truly blended djing and stage dancing i've seen. It inspires me to this day. Someday I hope we can go back, even for one night. There won't be magic like we had at FBT and the Arcade again, but it exists in our hearts and our music. @mrpaulmanton - Without a doubt you are a pillar of this community. Never had even one less than professional experience with you. We shared many great events, and you even got me booked twice at Shelter when I wasn't even qualified to clean the floor there. Lex Go - You took me under your wing in 2021 and gave me an avenue to build my dream in this community. Everything I'm doing now I owe to you, and even the current project started as your idea. @MUZZHQ - Forever grateful to share the tour in late 2021. You gave more to this community than anyone else, and even though we come from different cultures and prefer vastly different music genres, you are truly an inspiration to me for going to bat for the whole community despite receiving so much hate just for being successful in life. @_LaughingLizard - We shared many events, and many many months of work on the 6 maps you made and optimized. Your wacky style and playful nature is a great step away from how serious and annoying with egos some of this community is. @BlackRoseTh0rns - From the time I met you training you as security in CPR all the way til last night, there has never been a person I know that stands for VRChat and everything it should be more than you. You are truly a massive inspiration to me, and I'm honored to call you my VR family. @CowsGoMooooouwu - Your run through the end of covid really was magical and the unique vision you had is something that I've not seen really since. Along with Akiyama, you were pivotal in what I try to do to this day blending different styles and being a trendsetter to the future of VR. @ZoruOfficial - You are a sweetheart, and even though our couch was always better, you designed all the beautiful emoji I constantly spam everyone with. Kyle and Fox (yitties) - We worked together for like 5 years and we had countless great nights all the way from having no music in an apartment til now where you welcome ANY dj to play to a full crowd. I'm honored to work with you guys, and to also call you friends. @SkootabossSkoot - You are one of the most important people in the community to me now. You not only are so damn reliable, but also help out more communities than probably anyone else. You are selfless and your work ethic is truly honorable. @SlyVR5 - Since November 2024, getting to work with you has been a true honor. Each event my goal and inspiration is to know that you feel your time with me is worth it, and I hope with all my heart to share a few more years at least together. Sorry for such a long post. 9 years is a lot lol.
