I have a plan to save Great Britain’s High Streets. We all know they ain’t what they used to be. I know the high streets. I’ve worked on them and traded on them since I was a kid. I hate walking down a high street and seeing shops boarded up and forgotten and no people walking about. I have a detailed plan, and it will work to save them! It will bring people back into town, increase footfall, and make shops busy again! They’ll be more customers and more jobs for local people. And when shops are busy the councils will benefit too. It ain’t complicated. It’s about backing local traders. Free parking at weekends. Put proper community events on. Open up empty shops instead of leaving them empty. And I don’t want to give away all the ideas I have on this tweet but it really will work. It won’t cost local councils anything other than my time and that’s it! And I don’t want paying or a wage, I’m completely FREE. I’m doing this because I love this country and local communities and I want it to get better for my kids and the next generation to grow up in.
