Legal immigration at today’s scale is the main driver of the mass immigration crisis.
Weak immigration policies have turned Canada into a high-volume intake zone with no regard for housing supply, hospital capacity, wage effects for lower-skilled workers, or social cohesion.
When permanent resident targets, temporary workers, and international students run far ahead of infrastructure and integration capacity, the result is rising rents, longer wait times, strained public services, and parallel communities that do not assimilate.
Nations have a right to decide who enters and how many.
Both illegal entries and excessive legal inflows are policy choices, both can be reversed through tighter selection, lower overall numbers, stronger enforcement, and prioritization of the existing population.
Preserving a distinct Canadian nation requires controlling the rate and composition of immigration, not treating it as an unlimited good.
