One of the 🇬🇧 universities doing entrepreneurship best is @EdinInnovations. They provide huge support for founders. Like @UCamEnterprise they have an in-house seed fund (OCC) that gets equity for investment (not for free). Makes it very easy to partner with the university.

Most UK VCs (70%+?) & up to 50% of UK startups banked with SVB. They are the most innovative companies in the UK, driving growth and creating jobs. They have taken many years to build. They (& the UK tech ecosystem as a whole) risk being decimated if SVB UK is not rescued, fast.
Couldn’t agree more Alex. Beyond what they have done in catalysing the global tech industry, @SVB_Financial has been instrumental in balancing the scales in tech, making it more equitable. Hopefully they will be reborn in the coming days & their legacy live on
SVB could be such a valuable business if it weren’t for this liquidity crisis. Surprised no large bank has stepped in to buy it for $1. It’s a steal assuming no huge balance sheet hole - great brand, people, relationships, customer service.
