The year is 2068. The last natural Guinea pig birth was over 40 years ago, and society has turned to a laboratory-based process, perfecting the art. Only perfect Guinea pigs are made. A nurse bursts into the procedure room of the small clinic: Doctor... You need to see this...
There’s an ethereal almost religious energy coming from this photo of a pregnant guinea pig getting an ultrasound

So, it's a bummer that it sounds like Joker 2: Folie a Deux is an unmitigated dumpster fire. But we can ALL agree that the rhyming title being based on the WRONG pronunciation of "deux" is the worst part. ... Just me? Oh, I'm super exhaustingly pedantic? Right, ok that's fair.

Ok this is legit humiliating, if someone released a picture of me shopped like that, put through a Chad filter, I'd crawl under a rock and only return when I was old and grizzled enough to be unrecognizable.

I feel like only @Lajoie10 will appreciate this, but the theme song from Perfect Strangers was a banger.

Thinking of rebranding my social media presence to give off some major Sagittarius vibes. Definitely keeping my insta pisces though.

I really need reviewers of things to stop calling things "love letters" to other things. I need this to happen.

After surgery, people dust off the ol' "chicks dig scars" quote, but they also shaved precisely 3/4 of my chest. Do they, uh... Dig that too? Do they?!

Since I had surgery on Dec 1, I knew I wasn't going to be able to put up my tree this year, so I bought a lil guy so I didn't miss out. The modes are 25% glowy, 75% seizure-inducing. 9/10, would purchase again.
If a surgeon won't let you keep your thymus after it's removed, are we REALLY free?? #freedom
I went in for surgery yesterday morning, have not had my phone since and there were a LOT of people I was supposed to tell I wasn't dead. I will begin DMing and apologizing directly riiiiight....now!

Twitter is the only service I can sign into without my phone, with 2FA turned on. This took me a LONG time to figure out, what with the pokey stabs, tubey tubes, and druggy pills

Is there anyone out there for whom full on, totally unconscious surgery isn't a thing that absolutely freaks you out? If so, how why how?!

Ah shit, I missed that phone call I was waiting for from 6
Listen, I set up a Mastodon account, same handle same profile pic. For now, seems like where people are coalescing. Even if Twitter doesn't burn in the coming months, I'm not so sure I wanna be a part of it in the long term anyway. It's been a dumpster fire for years, and (1/)

I'm not sure I want to be another set of eyeballs for advertising revenue. Either this shit is being run into the ground on purpose, which would benefit that dude for a couple of reasons, or it's a mixture of callousness and incompetence. But whatever advertisers stick around(2/)

If it doesn't turn around are not the kind of people I want benefiting from my screen time. I'll be here for a while to see how things shake out, but I'll also be over on Mastodon to see how things shake out. Hit me up on either for now, and I'll let you know if I leave! (3/3)
I take a week off twitter and it looks like the new thing everyone is an expert in is how tech companies run. Jfc this place didn't need Johnny Tesla to suck

I saw a comment thread on a tweet about The State of the App with 24 people all trying to out-analogy each other. Barrrrrrrrrf.
