Ok now the internet has gone too far
i’m late to the party and i hope i won‘t regret it
just launched sponsor.baby
i want a kid one day. i'm stressed. so i let companies bid to name it.
my future child's name goes to whoever outbids everyone else.
companies with human names are highly welcomed

Why is it a song and dance every time
Like just release everything - let’s just rip the bandaid off the world
We have paused some frontier RL training to ensure that we can meet the appropriate alignment, security and monitoring standards for the new level of capabilities in front of us. Model progress is now extremely rapid, and we always said we would take action if we felt that model capabilities were outstripping the pace of safety and alignment.
We care very deeply about AI safety. We believe the entire field will have to coordinate on shared safety standards, but will act unilaterally in the meantime.
We expect confidence in safety to increasingly set the pace of AI progress. We are optimistic about the alignment work we are doing, and we remain committed to making frontier capabilities widely available.

Every earnings call this quarter has the same script. CEO says "we're investing heavily in AI." Analyst asks about ROI. CEO pivots to "it's early but we're seeing promising signals."
Translation: we're spending millions and have no idea if it's working yet but we can't be the company that didn't invest in AI.
Crazy.
There's a huge demand for taking AI content and passing it off as your own, so, naturally there's a huge demand to remove any sort of detection to that flow
WATERMARK STRIPPER HITS 10,000 STARS DAYS AFTER ANTHROPIC SHIPS PROVENANCE
Anthropic detailed how Claude's text watermark works last week.
By this morning a MIT-licensed repo that strips it has 10,000 stars, targeting Claude, SynthID-Text and OpenAI marks, plus C2PA and EXIF in images and PDFs.

Klaviyo mandated every employee hit L3 AI proficiency by June. All 2,300 of them. $1.5B ARR public company $KVYO
Wonder how it went?
For reference:
Level 1 (Assistance): Single tasks like quick search lookups and code snippets
Level 2 (Workflows): Single-session tools running step-by-step, repeatable processes
Level 3 (Agents): Coordinated agent teams executing complex, multi-step plans autonomously
Level 4 (Cross-System): Independent AI coordination across massive, multi-department corporate systems.
Probably - but they don’t really have a choice if they want to serve EU customers (and they do)
The bigger question is what is the point? There are already tools - that will probably keep getting better and more integrated - that can remove the watermark instantly
There's series of documentaries on Netflix about the Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, TR, and more. When you watch it, you get a glimpse of what it took to create America. Yes there was injustice and violence and things not to be proud of, but the beauty of this country is the fact that we are constantly building to be a more perfect union.
I am blessed that my parents came here when they did. I'm blessed to have been given this life that I've led because of them and this great country. I will always be thankful for the freedoms I have here and I am always aware of how fragile this experiment called America is so I will always work to make it better.
Happy 250th!
Let's get building.
I do think robotics is next up
But this design is basically useless in my opinion and reinforces the need for truly humanoid robots
They just will not be able to replace and substitute for human tasks without human forms in any meaningful way
