Lovely little stroll through London from Waterloo to Leicester Square and a little ride on the tube to Kings Cross. Leeds is on the board and train two of the day will follow shortly! #LILAC24

And so my #LILAC24 journey begins. Train number one heading towards the capital! Lovely to have some blue skies to accompany the journey, hopefully this will last for the whole of the conference (checks weather forecast and clutches to the brolly I thankfully put in my bag 🌧️🌂)

After feeling sorry for myself last Tues, having missed out on an opportunity - this Tues started more brightly when I arrived at my desk to find this little guy, a gift from an academic as thanks for some help with her research. Also pictured, today's awesome Xmas jumper!

Had some disappointing (but completely fair) work-adjacent news this afternoon but can't be down when I'm wearing a Xmas jumper this awesome!

Yesterday I ran a session on AI and what it means for libraries for my colleagues. As part of this I wanted to demo what AI tools could do so thought I'd try and generate a pic of someone who looked like me using Ideogram. Pic 1 is the prompt, pic 2 is the outcome! 🤣

🤣🤣

Well as you asked, here's Indie-Anna Jones, my furry companion

Just enough time for a quick hello to Platform 9 3/4 before jumping on the wrong train! Saw a Cambridge listing on the departure board and jumped on board only to realise as it pulled away that it's the slow train and gets me in 20mins later than I should have been 🤦 #LILAC23
