We were delighted to host the 2026 Data Science for All (DS4ALL) Summer Program at UC Irvine! It was the fourth year that UCI and UCLA organized this summer program. Over five intensive and rewarding days, 12 high-school students explored the foundations of data science, artificial intelligence, and machine learning through lectures, hands-on labs, and team projects. Students learned about data modeling, cleaning, visualization, Python programming, and AI/ML techniques. Using Apache Texera (Incubating), they also gained practical experience building graphical data-analysis workflows through a no-code and low-code approach, culminating in a capstone project showcase. It was especially rewarding to see them transform real datasets into meaningful analyses and confidently present their results.
