Last Thursday (Sept. 3), we hosted an NSF BRIDGE & Apache Texera Meetup in Boston during VLDB 2026. It was a great opportunity to connect with colleagues and exchange ideas about data and compute infrastructure, data science, AI/ML, agents, cloud computing, and open-source systems. We also had many valuable discussions about how the NSF BRIDGE data cyberinfrastructure and Apache Texera (Incubating) can support scientific communities by making data, computing, and AI capabilities more accessible, and how we can collaborate with researchers and infrastructure projects across different domains. Many thanks to everyone who joined us and contributed to the discussions. We look forward to continuing these conversations and exploring new research and collaboration opportunities. If you are interested in collaborating with NSF BRIDGE or Apache Texera, please feel free to reach out! ๐Ÿ”— Meetup: luma.com/gzyflpkf ๐Ÿ”— Apache Texera: texera.apache.org/ #NSF #BRIDGE #ApacheTexera #VLDB2026 #DataScience #AI #Cyberinfrastructure #OpenSource #ResearchCollaboration
