The Jackdaw gas field to go ahead. The correct decision, but how many times were we lied to when we were continually told by government it would take years to bring online? Years have now changed to the end of this month or next.

So just to be clear, you think the British Prime Minister should ignore British drivers and consumers being ripped off. And instead go to COBRA and prepare anti-riot measures because people are rioting in France. That's what a Reform government would be doing.
I'm not Dan. I'm saying get ready for unrest here if Burnham doesn't act now and get measures in place. But even you know the point I was making but your unhealthy obsession with Reform gets you foaming with rage. There's a fine line between being obsessed and possessed. Which one are you?

At last Dan gets it. A Reform government would be dealing with the important things that scare people and leave dealing with parking fines to a delegated person.

I asked in the Lords why the government leaves out the costs of extra grid, backup gas power costs, and payments to windfarms not to produce sometimes, when talking about the cost of renewables. No answer.

"Capacity Market Mechanism: Because backup gas plants will sit idle for long periods, they can't survive economically by just selling electricity on the open market - the government utilizes the UK Capacity Market. Under this system, private operators are paid "standby" fees"

April 1974, and British workers at Shakespeare Cliff in Dover are working on the site of the newly agreed Channel Tunnel project. In January 1975, British Prime Minister Harold Wilson would bring the project to an end, due to financial reasons.

The woke inept police have left the committee in a quandary as they dismissed a firebomb attack as an attempted burglary & ignored CCTV which could have prevented the death of Ann Widdecombe , is my guess. Imagine the fallout over money for his own protection.

Restore running in Burnley only helps Labour. We will end up with another Labour government especially with Restore taking some votes away from @reformparty_uk in the red wall.

Don is a fantastic local councillor, a retired police officer and former dog handler. He’s from Burnley, loves the town. How many in Reform were previously in another party? I voted Labour once nearly 30 years ago. Does that make me Labour for life?

"More than 50,000 attempts to cross the Channel have been prevented since July 2024, French operational data shows." Say that 1 in 3 days (on average) is not safe to cross, 50,000 works out as 100 attempts per 'crossable day' - foiled. Rubbish!

Zelensky is the single biggest obstacle to achieving peace in the Ukraine. Once everyone realizes that, this war will end and people of that region of the world can start rebuilding their lives.

Reform has a women problem. It stems from the top. Women, do what I did. Turn your back on a party which just wants to weaponise you and make you a tick box exercise and join the Conservative Party where the sky's the limit. membership.conservatives.com…
Warning: Offensive language Reform UK MP for Runcorn and Helsby Sarah Pochin has said her party ‘excludes you if you’re a woman’ and that Reform has a ‘male issue’. The comments were made as part of an undercover investigation inside Reform UK’s political operation that has found senior party officials saying they have to “defend the indefensible”, with Nigel Farage told he was “protecting” one Reform candidate from being sacked for allegedly racist views. ITV Exposure gained unprecedented access to Reform’s Westminster headquarters, sending in an undercover reporter inside the party in January 2026, where she worked as a press officer. She secretly recorded conversations between Reform officials as they dealt with multiple accusations of racism by Reform councillors and candidates. Sarah Pochin did not respond to our request for a comment. Watch ‘Undercover: A Year in Reform’ on ITV1 & ITVX from 10:20pm on Sunday

We always had to queue! And inevitably French customs/airtraffic control would select a week of strikes in peak holiday season (as they still do)! It has never been possible to get into the EU from UK w/o queue, except in a Hurricane.

Counter-terrorism unit RICU accused the outlet of downplaying an arson attack on Jewish ambulances and "stoking grievance narratives". This year, the 5Pillars interviewed Scotland’s First Minister and senior Green Party politicians. My investigation: stevenedginton.com/p/leak-ho…

£3 trillion in debt, £120bn fiscal deficit, highest energy costs in world, grid at max capacity, not enough gas for winter, growth in economy less than borrowing %, rapey third worlders walking streets, crime soaring, housing market dead, Iranians almost attacking air bases, Burnham telling porkies by the day... ... and these two muppets are on jolly.
