"More than 50,000 attempts to cross the Channel have been prevented since July 2024, French operational data shows." Say that 1 in 3 days (on average) is not safe to cross, 50,000 works out as 100 attempts per 'crossable day' - foiled. Rubbish!

Will Scotland and Wales join a united Ireland to become the Celtic Kingdom?

Has the source of the oh so 'credible' extreme right-wing terrorism-related threat to the Ijtima at Shrubland Hall, Suffolk, been revealed yet? Presumably that particular Police informant is now unemployed or serving time for perjury?

Keir Starmer has only been gone a week and already we couldn't care less!

You get the feeling that Burnham is going to tinker with a load of minor issues implemented by Starmer between 2024-6 to give the lie to being business/tax friendly. Classic is bus fare cap, just reducing what Labour increased! Net effect sweet FA!

So, just to be clear, despite a 'credible' (RWing) terrorism threat to the Ijtima and 12 arrests, no terror charges have been made and the 'threat' has what? Disappeared! 10 to 1 we never find the source of the threat.

Is the World Cup over yet. Can we get back to normality now?

The look you give when your virtue signalling ahs just been destroyed by a simple fact!

The Nobel Committee announced an overwhelming record no. of Virtue Signalling entries. With the imminent police inquiry into the death of Henry Nowak, they expect a further rush of late entries. As in previous years prizes for individual excellence and flair will be considered!

First of June! Not first of April, but the BBC does it again. I kid you not.

Amazed by how developed Roman society was in Pompeii - that they had anti-tank mines in 79AD is quite a surprise. However, the way they carried them does explain the high casualty rate at Herculaneum!

Keep a close lookout for Labour publishing a lot of Fukk-ups, in the hope that the Andrew 'thing' means it's a good day to publish bad news!

Tories under Sunak look quite tight, professional and organised compared to Starmer. June/July '24, inflation was 2%, economy was growing by 2.8% p/a and bank i rate just on the cusp of falling. Taxes were sensible (if a bit high) and there was optimism. Now adults in charge!
