"Congrats on your flying car!" said a partner this week. But Teslasuit ≠ Tesla Motors.
I get this a lot, so I thought to take a moment to explain who we are and where we DO share some similar interests to Tesla Motors:
@Tesla makes electric vehicles, AI and robots and their sister company, SpaceX makes rocket powered flight.
@Teslasuit makes a human performance intelligence platform powered by a full body wearable with electro-haptics, motion capture and biometric sensors.
✅ Were both inspired by Nikola Tesla and his work with electric currents. The man was a true genius!
✅ We’re both working in #robotics: they make @Tesla_Optimus, and we train humanoids and equip humans to teleoperate them.
✅ We’re both involved in #space: they make rockets (and now, rocket cars!) and we train astronauts.
✅ We’re both involved in #automotive and #energy: they make cars and batteries, and we train humans to operate safety in manufacturing and maintenance of energy systems.
It’s exciting to see what Tesla's been doing combining cars and rockets. It’ll be very interesting to see where we may work together in the future! 🤖 🧑🚀
Teslasuit’s second visit to UCL East in two weeks, this time to meet Thomas George Thuruthel and Yasemin Bekiroğlu, whose work on tactile skin and robotic dexterity is moving robots closer to human-like tactile perception.
George Campbell was there to hear about their work and to introduce ours: closing the teleoperation loop by returning sensation to the human at the other end. Teslaglove at the hand, Teslasuit XR5 throughout the body.

Teslasuit was at @UCLEast this week, where UCL Robotics is at the forefront of teleoperation research.
Our CEO George Campbell met the UCL Robotics Lab team to discuss their work on robotic hands and tactile skin, and how Teslaglove can complete the picture by feeding sensation back into the operator's hand while tracking what that hand actually did.
Early conversations, good overlap, and plenty worth exploring together.

Teslasuit was at #IFESS2026 in Lecco this month. You'd be hard pushed to find a room that knows FES better, which made it the right place to find out what's holding the field back.
What we heard, session after session, was the same short list of practical problems. One example: running a multi-channel FES protocol still means stitching together separate systems for stimulation, motion capture and the closed loop control between them.

Teslasuit BD Lead Khalid Rustamov visited Virtualware to see how integrating a full-body haptic suit can transform the group training experience, bringing real physical sensation into every session.
Virtualware build VIROO, an enterprise platform for multi-user XR simulation at scale. The VIROO Room turns any physical space into a shared 1:1 virtual environment for whole teams.
A shared simulation controls what a group sees. Teslasuit adds what each person feels, and captures what each person's body reports back. Force, impact and physiological response become part of the same session, measured per trainee in real time, taking immersion beyond the headset and into the whole body.
This is where multi-user training is heading, and we are excited to explore it together.
