A sitting governor in Nigeria requested the commissioner of Police in his state to give him clearance to deploy 500 rogues, to act as fake police officers in the state for this electioneering period.
But the commissioner declined. The governor sent his boys to attack opposition members thinking the commissioner of police will form ignorance since he is the one whom the boys are working for, but the CP arrested some of them and detained them despite all the plea that they are governor's boys.
The governor used his connection in Abuja, lied about the CP, and requested that he should be taken out of the state.
Today 5th of November, that commissioner of Police has been replaced 😭😭😭😭
Everyday we Nigerians will be accusing the police for not doing the right thing, for not standing by the truth, for being biased. But today a serving commissioner of Police who chose to uphold the law, stand by the truth, and not allow his conscience to be bought by a sitting corrupt governor over politics. A commissioner of police who refused a governor the opportunity to bring in criminals with guns as fake police officers to unalive the citizens of the state in the name of politics, has just been removed from office.
If you people in Abuja think this thing is a secret, please be informed that PIDOM is aware.

NDC presidential candidate, Mr Peter Obi, has condemned the Federal High Court ruling nullifying the emergence of the ADC National Chairman and the actions taken by his leadership.
Obi expressed concern that the ruling could create uncertainty for opposition parties ahead of the 2027 general elections, alleging that the ruling party was engineering instability to frustrate opposition politics.
He urged the judiciary to protect democracy and ensure that opposition parties and their candidates are allowed to participate freely in the electoral process.

Court Sacks David Mark-Led ADC Leadership, Nullifies Atiku's Candidacy
A Federal High Court in Abuja has reportedly sacked the Senator David Mark-led leadership of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), declaring its leadership structure and related actions invalid.
The court also nullified the process that produced former Vice President Atiku Abubakar as the party's presidential candidate for the 2027 general election.
The judgment followed a legal challenge by Nafiu Bala Gombe, who disputed the emergence of the David Mark-led leadership.
The ruling represents a major legal setback for the ADC as the party prepares for the 2027 general election.

Do not Undermine Democracy
I have received with shock the news of an order by the Federal High Court in Abuja nullifying the emergence of the Chairman of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) and all the actions he has taken. This is unsettling and surprising.
I do not challenge the ruling of the court. The court of law is constituted to determine disputes according to the law. My concern is that three months before a general election, it is in the public interest to have certainty. It is not good to have too many uncertainties about candidates and parties a few weeks before a presidential election. This instability is obviously engineered by the ruling party, just as they have done against me in the Labour Party and continue to do so to close down civic space for a robust campaign. It is also from the same rulebook that manufactures violence against us in our campaigns.
One mark of democracy is that at all times, it is voters and not courts that choose leaders. I trust in the judiciary. As a public officer, I have shown deep respect for the judiciary. I appeal that we protect the integrity of democracy by not undermining the free and fair choice of candidates.
The sustenance of democracy in Nigeria, in the midst of encroaching military rule in West Africa, should strengthen our resolve to protect opposition politics and not stamp out opposition parties. It is because of the importance of opposition to the sustenance of democracy that I have always promised that, as President, I will take a special interest in ensuring opposition parties are stable and thriving, and that opposition candidates are not persecuted out of electoral contests.
This is a time to strengthen our democracy by allowing the opposition to thrive.

This Judgment Is a Warning, Not a Win
A court has removed the David Mark-led NWC and nullified Atiku’s candidacy. Do not celebrate. What was done to one camp today can be done to any of us tomorrow.
APC is the real beneficiary. They want the opposition weakened and fighting itself so they can continue the failures of the last eleven years. No party logo protects you from that.
Demand a free, fair, and credible election by INEC. The task is to end APC rule, not to destroy one another.

The New Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the All Progressives Congress (APC) of pressuring hotels in Abuja to deny opposition parties access to venues for their meetings.
The party alleged that the pressure was aimed at preventing opposition groups from holding meetings and carrying out their political activities in the Federal Capital Territory.
