It took Frederic Tudor 41 years to reach PMF for ice (1806-1847). Who knew it would be so hard to convince people they need cold beer and ice cream. mentalfloss.com/article/2240…

I’ve been dreaming about the enterprise and training side of #Spectacles. This is an experience I built that teaches you #welding. It connects to a BLE controller (StickS3) for push button activation of the torch.

15 mins port from Mac app to SPECS Lens with CLAD 🔥
Here is the same app on @specs.
In the future you will just look at any appliance and control it without having to navigate through dozens of apps.
Took less than 15mins to port with Codex + Lens Studio and runs seamlessly on my glasses 🤓

Really cool. I can’t wait to see the next generation of experiments once people get the new SPECS with support for native libraries and CLAD. So many new possibilities. An avalanche of creativity is about to get unleashed for AR wearables with @specs and @specsfordevs
Can’t wait to try out what you cook on the new SPECS.
SPECS HAS NEXT👓🕶️⚡️
After years of dreaming about Augmented Reality and the future of XR, getting to experience @specs for ourselves a few weeks ago hit DIFFERENT🥹! SPECS are real augmented reality glasses straight out of science fiction🚀
We love seeing @evanspiegel , @Snap , & the @specsfordevs team put that magic in front of more people at the pop-up at Westfield Century City Mall. That 1:1 approach to marketing is so powerful. Putting the glasses on someone & watching that moment AWE MOMENT happen is truly incredible 👌🏾
As creators AND developers, it has us fired up about what comes next and what we get to contribute to it. @OnyxLeafMedia can’t WAIT to show the 🌎 what we’ve been cooking for these glasses🤓⚡️🔥
Just keeping it simple and focusing on people with SPECS.
Just watched the video. @Snap seems to be doing everything right! Keep pushing these types of experiences @evanspiegel.
Good video Nathie.

AR glasses are slowly going mainstream and I just got a glimpse of what that future could look like.
Watch it here: youtu.be/UgTZg11T1KU?is=1I3X…
It’s not everyday that you help people see a totally new way to do things. That’s the SPECS promise and this video sums it very well.

SPECS are the ultimate on the go spatial computing experience.
With @specs AR glasses and #DGNS Micro Corp
you actually can roam around the world as you work on any project.
Instead of staying at your desk, go to a parc, to the beach or anywhere you like.
Go touch grass while staying productive!

You only get it when your try it. SPECS demos are now open for everyone at @WestfieldCC
Remixing games with AI seems to be a trend, blending them with your real surroundings is only possible on SPECS. SPECS demos are now live in @WestfieldCC, go try for yourself.
Paying off my mortgage to Tom Nook in Animal Crossing by slaying Diablo
All I need is Opus 5.5, CLAD, and @specs connected to a Xbox controller ⚡️🥽
@specsfordevs
Thank @Heaney555 for acknowledging that SPECS is a worlds first. Not enough people appreciate the world class engineering that happens across CV, OS, Optics, and 10s of other disciplines at Snap. It’s truly an iconic western achievement for a medium size company.
$SNAP SPECS some praise from @Heaney555 of @UploadVR as the really only true AR glasses on the market today @specs
SPECS on the street… love how casually people can put it on and off…. Adoption starts at putting it on the same way you put on regular glasses.
😎
The average person has a basic understating and expectation of what "AR glasses" means, informed by fiction like Tony Stark and Kingsman.
Glasses that you can wear walking down the street that also... augment your reality.
Meta VR Glasses does not remotely satisfy this expectation.
It's really not hard to understand!
If you are a developer in London (XR experience not needed) and want to talk about building spatial computing experiences anchored in the real world on SPECS. Meet up with Joe. We 💛 European Devs.
I’ll be in London next week for our first ever developer roundtable. Along with members on our engineering team, we will spend time with @specs developers and devs in general XR community.
We would love to hear your feedback, understand your workflows as you bring AR experiences to life and just listen.
If you are in London and are building for SPECS or on the fence and interested to meet, please message me. Happy to connect and learn.
