Claude Code just found the spyware on my 19 y/o sister's iphone
It was hiding as a system app called "Device Health" and sending her entire camera roll to a server…
Her iphone was dead by 2pm. Warm in her pocket with the screen off. She thought it was just old
I plugged it into my laptop, opened a terminal and gave Claude Opus 5.5 one prompt
2 minutes later:
→ 63 processes running
→ 60 normal
→ 2 old games still pulling her location
→ 1 app called "Device Health" with no icon on the home screen
"Device Health" had:
→ accessibility access - it could read everything on her screen
→ access to all her photos and files
→ mic + location + every SMS
→ device admin rights - so she couldn't delete it
→ an upload every 15 minutes, even at 3am
So I asked Opus to pull the app apart
It decompiled it down to the code in 4 minutes. Inside:
→ every new photo she took was copied and uploaded within 60 seconds
→ her whole gallery had already been sent - 2,300+ photos
→ a keylogger catching every word she typed
→ screenshots every time she opened Instagram or her bank app
→ her GPS logged every 5 minutes
All of it zipped and sent to one server, 3 times an hour
847 screenshots and 112 new photos were still waiting in the upload queue
It wasn't a system app. Someone installed it by hand
She has no idea who. Or when
We wiped it, changed every password and turned on 2FA. Her battery went from dead at 2pm to 40% at 10pm
Your 3-minute check tonight:
battery → anything draining with the screen off is suspect
photos access → only your camera and gallery apps need "all photos"
accessibility → if you don't know why an app is there, it shouldn't be
device admin → only "Find My Device" belongs on that list
nameless apps → no icon + "system", "health" or "sync" in the name = check it
Found one? Don't delete it on the spot. Screenshot everything, then remove it and change your passwords from a different device
Save this post, and check your phone tonight. Then check your family's

I just solved "Robotics Engineering" education with Opus 5.5 + /colorfigures skill
no need to spend $1000+ on a starter kit to learn what a resistor does, just visit my interactive site:
• 13 real boards: Arduino Uno, L298N, Raspberry Pi 5...
• build part by part: pick & place, reflow, solder, plug in
• break them on purpose: reversed caps pop, chips smoke, LEDs burn out
send the skill to your Claude:

🔴EMPARCHANDO EL PLANETA
HOY 👉 PHP 🐘

One motor. One propeller. A serious control problem. Would you try building it?
This open-source project by @Joshua_Bird takes a different approach to fly a drone powered by just one motor and one propeller.
The secret is a hinged propeller mechanism and precisely timed motor torque pulses that control pitch and roll. Custom firmware handles the high-speed control loop at around 300 updates per second.
It even uses an infrared beacon to estimate its heading as the body rotates.
The CAD files and firmware forks are available to explore.

What if you could run ESP32 firmware without touching a physical board?
Espressif's open-source ESP Emulator lets you run firmware binaries for chips including the ESP32-C3, C6, H2, P4, S3, and S31.
You can even try it in your browser. Upload a merged firmware ".bin" file and watch the emulator run, with a live view of the console, CPU registers, memory and GPIO activity.
For embedded developers, this opens up new ways to test firmware, debug execution and experiment before moving to hardware.
Would you trust an emulator to test your next ESP32 project before flashing a real board?
This is Pele, my new rendering library for diagrams and charts, compatible with the latest Mermaid syntax.
- 100-500× faster than mermaid.js
- 6× smaller bundle
- No dependencies
- Easy to theme
- Responsive to device width
In pursuit of making Obsidian insanely fast and cohesively designed, I always found the Mermaid library to be too big, too slow, and too hard to theme. Pele will be the new renderer in the next version of Obsidian, but you can start using it now.
Pele [ˈpɛlɛ] is named after the goddess of volcanoes and fire. It's open source under the MIT license. Try the playground!

Metal effect is now available for SwiftUI. As expected, it reacts and bends when a magnet is nearby.

REA(Reverse Engineer Anything)
App
