Texted a friend up in the city. Here’s how it went. I could have barfed, decided to take the somewhat “encouraging” route.
Further in the conversation she asked if I could pull up, so I printed off her sample ballot and filled it out and sent to her. Had to research a few since we live in different districts.
This isn’t an isolated case, not even just an Oklahoma issue. How do we get people to care again?? (This person isn’t a young person, she is a 55 year old that should know better)
This was a chonky one. No match for the zero turn. Found 2 more body pieces but no head and no buttons. Size 7 flip flop for size reference…

The only real critique of @JakeAMerrick among Republicans is that he hasn’t spent enough money campaigning.

People who like Jake will consider voting for someone else because he didn’t frivolously spend millions of other people’s money on social media ads.
What did he do instead?
He worked his tail off, nose to the grindstone, doing personal appearances in towns everywhere. He literally ran across the state, doing the cheaper, harder, real work of meeting Oklahomans where they are.
There was no cosplaying as a DEA agent with a gun tucked in his pants, no slick suit and tie $2000 a plate dinners, no AI ads (except those I did, completely unauthorized, on my own with Grok) and no wasting millions.
Mazzei, McCall, Drummond, and Keating have wasted millions trying to get into office. They’ll waste hundreds of millions more once they get there.
Jake will do the hard, real work in the governor’s chair that he’s doing now. He’ll also be the only guy who doesn’t waste your money.

Our state's own Roose Bolton: He used "REAL ID non-compliance" as the wedding-feast cover, then purged the DPS leadership investigating the OHP promotional-exam cheating scheme over Labor Day weekend 2019. The deputy who delivered the firing ultimatums was his father's old staffer. Protected friends. Punished whistleblowers.
Drummond:
The Varys who uses connections and the discretionary power of his office to play every side. He took the O'Donnell tag-agent prosecution from the DA, called him "guilty," then dismissed all eight counts anyway. The little birds always serve his realm.
Mazzei:
Oklahoma's Tywin Lannister, the financier with the gold to buy off enemies and bankroll the throne. A Mazzei always pays his debts. The question is, who's collecting?
McCall:
He puts Littlefinger's manipulations to shame. He climbed the chaos ladder to the longest speakership in state history, then rewrote House rules so a duly elected representative can't have a bill rescued from a committee dungeon without permission from the Speaker and his appointee. The governorship is just the next rung.
All of the wealthy elite are taking out personal loans, not from the iron bank, but from their own coffers in the millions... but why, you ask? Because each has met with PACs and large donors, their own bannermen, in backrooms to secure their commitments to repay the "loans" each candidate made to their own campaign, but only AFTER the election. That way each can hide their allegiance to Big Ag, Big Pharma, Oil and Gas, and the billionaires who truly run our state. Campaign reports will never show who is pulling the strings until after the election.
@JakeMerrick4Gov stands as the sole candidate fighting for the freedom of the common people, facing an onslaught from millionaires and yet to be disclosed PACs and special interests.
Will the wildings of Oklahoma's small towns and rural communities rally behind Jake to fight off the armies of Oklahoma's elite? We can only hope...

Pet peeve of mine…several words in the English language drives me nuts when used in the attached example. In this example, why use “Respectfully”? These kinds of people have not earned any respect….

I woke up this morning with the searing thought that tomorrow isn’t guaranteed. So, off to the lake we went to make the best of today. It helped, but I still have some maddening thoughts about yesterday….😢
Road trip today to get this new deer feeder. Hoping it operates better than all the ones we’ve had in the past. 600 lb capacity. I like that I can drag it around with 4 wheeler or gator.
