Our team makes around around 20 improvements per day to Grok @Bot
Grok Bot has improved so much lately. It's really a joy to use now! So fast and yet smart with understanding my intent.

We asked AI models to build the Eiffel Tower in 3D, offline. Two of them added all 72 scientists' names to it, in order, from memory We did not expect this. Every AA-3D model got the same brief of about 200 words, on the tower's shape, lattice, platforms and lighting. It never mentions the names. Gustave Eiffel put the names of 72 French scientists, engineers, and mathematicians under the tower's first platform, 18 on each side. Claude Opus 5.5 and Grok 4.7 wrote all 72, with each side in the real order. Claude Opus 5.5 also put each set on the side that faces the same way in Paris. Each model built its scene as an agent in a sandbox with no internet access. In both runs, the names first appear in code the model wrote, never in a file or tool output it read. Congratulations to @spacexai, @elonmusk and @AnthropicAI on two seriously knowledgeable models

Recursive Self-Improvement
A retired NASA engineer who had worked on the Space Shuttle program for 25 years was hired by SpaceX at age 62. He described the first week as the most disorienting experience of his professional life. At NASA, a design change required 3 meetings, 2 committees, a review board, and 6 to 18 months of documentation. At SpaceX, his new supervisor said "if it works, build it. If it doesn't, change it by Friday." He sat at his desk after the first day and called his wife. He told her he felt like a man who had been swimming with ankle weights for 25 years and someone just cut them off. He could move. He could decide. He could build something in the morning and test it in the afternoon. The constraint that he had accepted as the nature of aerospace engineering turned out to be the nature of bureaucracy. Within 6 months he had contributed to more design iterations than he had completed in his last 5 years at NASA. Not because he was working harder. Because the time between having an idea and testing the idea collapsed from months to hours. The same brain. The same knowledge. A different operating system. He described a specific moment where he proposed a modification to a Raptor engine component. At NASA, the proposal would have entered a queue. At SpaceX, the modification was machined by the end of the day and tested by the following morning. He watched his idea become a physical object in 18 hours. At NASA, 18 hours would not have been enough to schedule the first meeting to discuss whether to schedule a meeting. He told an interviewer: "I didn't get smarter when I went to SpaceX. I got faster. The intelligence was always there. The system was in the way." The difference between SpaceX and NASA is not talent. NASA has extraordinary talent. The difference is the time between a thought and a test. SpaceX compresses it. NASA elongates it. The same engineer produces 10x more at SpaceX than at NASA because the bottleneck was never the engineer. It was the meetings about the meetings about the work.

One month at SpaceXSI (prev. SpaceXAI 😂) The version of Grok I saw on my first day is already very different from the one I’m seeing today. I’ve spent most of my time working on browser use and agentic features, and also got to ship @bot tagging on X. The pace of improvement is genuinely insane. Things that were broken or barely working a few weeks ago are now completely different. By the time you get used to something, it’s already changing again… What’s surprised me most is that we’re moving at this speed while operating at an absolutely insane scale. There’s still so much to fix and build. We’re nowhere near where we want to be. And that’s the most exciting part! One month down and just getting started. 🚀

Grok Bot has seriously generous usage limits now.... I've been using it soo much, and I still have 35% of my weekly limit left, with just 3 days until it resets When Grok Bot first launched, I would have already run out of limits with this much usage But now it's much more efficient, gets a lot more done, and I don't have to constantly worry about hitting my limits This is a huge improvement, especially for people who use Grok Bot heavily every day

BREAKING: President Trump on Elon Musk today: “First, we honor an industrial titan, a brilliant engineer, and one of the greatest technology founders to ever live. His name is Elon Musk. Quite honestly, there’s nobody like him. Few Americans in history have done more to advance America’s national interest than Elon. In one field after another, his genius and determination have made science fiction into reality. And that is so true. Elon founded SpaceX with his life savings in 2002 and created the first privately developed liquid-fueled rocket to reach orbit in the face of vanishingly impossible odds. Nobody thought it was possible to do the things he’s doing, and in so many different ways. SpaceX saved NASA from relying on foreign nations to send our astronauts into space. And I want to congratulate SpaceX on the safe return of Crew-12 from the International Space Station just a few hours ago. Congratulations. Well, we wanted to make sure. Could you imagine if things didn’t work out so well? It would be not a very happy moment. I wonder if he’d be here. I think he might not be here. But it always works out well for Elon, right? We’re proud of you. Very proud of you. National treasure. Under Elon’s leadership, SpaceX has also developed Starship, the largest rocket in history, which is caught out of thin air for rapid reuse. And it’s the first time anyone has ever seen anything quite like it. They also created the largest-ever communication satellite network, Starlink. And in North Carolina, I will tell you personally, because I was involved, we had a hurricane, one of the great water hurricanes of all time. Delivered more water than at any time that we can remember on record. It saved hundreds of lives by calling Elon. I remember the governor said, ‘Sir, is there any way… do you know a man named Elon Musk?’ I said, ‘I happen to know him, yes.’ ‘We need Starlink because the water was so deep that many islands were created and the people had no way of getting off those islands, and they had no communication.’ And they said, ‘We cannot get anybody to help us.’ And I called up Elon, and it was like impossible to get this equipment. And he had it there in a matter of hours and saved hundreds of lives. Saved hundreds of lives in North Carolina. So, I never forgot that experience. It was a terrible time and the job he did. And he acted so fast. Everybody said they were impossible to get. So, thank you, Elon, for that very special moment. In addition, Elon created Tesla, the first successful new car manufacturer in over 75 years, producing the first commercially viable electric cars with the first consumer self-driving technology. And interestingly, when you mentioned Tesla, my uncle, Dr. John Trump, was commissioned by the United States government to do a report on Nikola Tesla. They wanted to know: was he real or not real? Was he a true genius or not? My uncle, after a fairly short period of time, determined that he was a true and great genius and that he was real in every single way. Otherwise, you’d have to change the name of the car company. You wouldn’t want to be a… See, now, if I did the report, Elon, I might say, ‘He wasn’t that good.’ But my uncle was a different kind of a person than I am. And he gave Tesla the highest report. He said he was a true, great genius. So, very nice. Through Neuralink, Elon is also restoring sight, speech, and motion to those who cannot see, talk, or move. And he turned SpaceX AI into one of the world’s leaders in superintelligence. Elon is our modern-day Thomas Edison. And, Elon, I want to congratulate you. You’re my friend in all of that, but you are a very, very special guy. Thank you very much, and congratulations, Elon. Great. Great job.”
