A friend came over to my home for Shabbat this week and brought me an awesome book about his boss, Alex Karp, the CEO of Palantir. I started reading it and came across a detail I loved. The author describes Karp’s home as something straight out of a James Bond movie: a massive estate overlooking New Hampshire’s White Mountains, an international security team, Austrian assistants who speak almost exclusively German. Then he writes: “The mezuzah on the front door wasn’t something you were likely to see in a Bond flick.”
