Let's start off 2020 with a bang. With this morning's v5.0.0 release, the Pulse SMS Android app is now 100% open source! 👀🔥 Drop in and give it a star! ⭐️ Repo: github.com/klinker-apps/puls… Details: blog.klinkerapps.com/pulse-s… Play Store: play.google.com/store/apps/d…

Not many paid apps are open source, of course. I think it is an amazing way to say "thank you" to everyone that has helped make the app a success. If you like what I am doing, feel free to say "thanks" back, by giving me a star on Github: github.com/klinker24/talon-t…

I have been a big advocate of open source work for a long time. Many of the components that go in to my apps are already open source. For me, this was the obvious next step for the app.

If you are wondering what the future of the app will look like... From a user perspective, you won't notice much difference. The app will still be distributed as a paid app on Google Play and updated there. The update frequency will also remain the same.

I am taking an exciting new step for Talon today... The Material Design version of the app (that is currently on the Play Store), is now open source. This is a pretty significant contribution, to say the least! Repo: github.com/klinker24/talon-t… Details: blog.klinkerapps.com/talon-o…

I put out a beta for v2.0.0 of the Pulse desktop (Mac, Windows, and Linux) apps, this morning. On top of that, these desktop clients are now open source! Release Notes: blog.klinkerapps.com/pulse-s… Open Source Repo: github.com/klinker24/messeng…
