1/ The market is crashing today due to DeepSeek taking over, but imho, this is one of the most bullish things that could happen for $TAO. Why? Because it proves that open-source AI is winning. Let me explain 👇

Subnet owners can now decide how emissions get split between themselves, validators and miners. No more fixed 18/41/41 for everyone. Root stakers keep their base share no matter what they pick.
This opens the door for every subnet to set its own strategy. Pay miners more to win the best talent, keep more to fund the team and the product, or try something completely new. I'm pretty sure the better performing subnets will use this to stand out from the competition in the ecosystem.
It gives builders room to find talented miners easier.
You'll probably see some owners proudly announce they're going to 0% to boost the price. Sounds nice, but on its own it doesn't have to mean much. They can still sit on a big bag of alpha or top up miner rewards and extract through self mining.
Keep DYOR.
For stakers it's a trade-off though. If owners send more emissions to miners, more alpha gets sold, while your own APY goes down.
I hope it stays attractive enough for investors to carry that extra sell pressure.
I think if subnets cut staker rewards too far, stakers will just move their stake elsewhere. Unless those subnets make up for it some other way, like buybacks and burns.
But what matters most is that the network attracts more miners. And this is by far the fastest way to get there.
Sign in with SayGM is live
Apps can now add a Sign in with SayGM button. Users connect their SayGM account in a few clicks, and the app runs on their existing SayGM balance, with no API keys to copy and paste.
You choose what each app can do
When an app asks to connect, you pick which permissions to allow:
- Use models: the app can make requests with a dedicated key that's only for that app.
- Read usage: the app can see what it has spent on your account.
- Read profile: the app can see your basic account details.
You set the budget
If you allow model access, you set a monthly spending limit for that app or choose unlimited. Each app has its own limit, and only you can change it. Limits reset at the start of each month (UTC).
You stay in control
Account → Connected apps shows every app you've connected, with its permissions and spend for the month. Revoke turns off that app's access and key straight away.
Building an app? Get paid for the users you bring
Sign in with SayGM uses standard OAuth 2.0 with PKCE. Your users bring their own balance, so you never front their inference costs.
Add your affiliate referral code to your Sign in with SayGM link. Every new SayGM account created through your button counts as your referral, and you earn alpha from the pool on what those users spend.

I'm so excited to be releasing this engine.
This represents the first of hopefully a long line of work with Nvidia
We didn't put comparison charts in the main post
but rest assured
WE SMOKED EM
this is the best engine for your dgx station.
its not close.

Bitcoin decentralized money. Bittensor is decentralizing intelligence
$TAO 2030 is our case for Bittensor becoming a $1tn+ ecosystem by 2030
i believe bittensor:native becomes a $1tn+ ecosystem by 2030 (yes, ~333x from current market cap, NFA)
TAO's price is moving at the speed of bitcoin, but the innovation is moving at the speed of AI
the exponential we'll witness from Bittensor will be shocking and my bet is unlike anything crypto has ever seen

When we released the Bittensor Revenue Index one month ago:
$32–35M annualized $TAO subnet revenue.
Today:
$50M+.
More than 40% MoM growth.
A large part of that acceleration is being driven by Lium, Targon and Engy, all three showing significant revenue growth.
But the broader picture is just as encouraging.
Bitcast and Almanac continue to grow rapidly, while Score and Vanta have now started revenue-funded Alpha buybacks.
When we published the report, we projected Bittensor could reach $100M in annualized subnet revenue by year-end.
If this pace continues, that estimate may have been too conservative.
Today, we're releasing the first SubConnect Bittensor Revenue Index.
Over the past months, we've been researching one of the most important, yet surprisingly difficult questions to answer within Bittensor:
Which $TAO subnets are actually generating revenue? How much and are they doing revenue generated Alpha buys?
The results show an ecosystem that is further into commercialization than many realize.
Bittensor's first chapter was about proving decentralized competition could produce valuable intelligence. The next chapter is about turning that intelligence into products customers are willing to pay for. And as more of that external revenue flows back into Alpha, the economics of the network begin to change with it.
From emissions to revenue, the transition has begun.

The open AI race just landed on @base 🟦
@affine_io (SN120) turns AI development into an open competition on Bittensor, rewarding miners for measurable improvements in reasoning and coding models.
Now we’re bringing its subnet token to Base, connecting that ambition with Base's traders, liquidity and DeFi ecosystem.
A new audience for Affine has been unlocked!

Bittensor is building toward a full-stack intelligence network that no single company or country can control.
In his @ExploitSummit keynote, @const_reborn lays out the next steps towards that end state.

STATE OF THE ART
τalk τao (τ,τ) retweeted
Affine was never really about building one model. It took me a while to grasp it, but with some help i think I’m getting there.
The model is only the seed.
Yuma Consensus gave Bittensor its economic nervous system:
a way for thousands of competing actors to converge around incentives.
@affine_io tries to build the other half.
A recursive intelligence loop where miners continuously hunt the current king, improve it, replace it, and raise the floor again.
King after king.
Model after model.
Intelligence compounding inside the network.
Current king affine-1 is 40b parameters and equals 100b parameters opus 4.1. And this happened within a few months of its existence.
Then comes the deeper part.
Use that intelligence to connect the subnets themselves.
Inference.
Compute.
Storage.
Search.
Agents.
Training.
Data.
Meaning Affine’s model could eventually act as an intelligent router/orchestrator between those systems.
Different organs of the same machine, accessible through an intelligence layer capable of routing between them and composing them together.
A decentralized Mixture of Experts at network scale.
Yuma tells the machine how value should move.
Affine could teach the machine how intelligence should move.
One aligned the incentives.
The other may align the pieces.
And somewhere inside that recursive loop, Bittensor stops looking like 128 independent subnets.
It starts looking like one organism.
