Some of these AI-generated Independence Day posters are downright disgusting! 🇺🇬😂
Let's stop forcing AI impressions in the name of patriotism. AI should enhance creativity, not replace it. Let those with actual creative budgets celebrate Independence Day properly!

It was a pleasure meeting General Caleb Akandwanaho (Salim Saleh), Chief Coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation (OWC).
We discussed investment, industrialisation and opportunities across #Uganda and #Tanzania, including recycling and local manufacturing, digital connectivity and food security — areas with the potential to create jobs, reduce reliance on imports and add greater value to what we produce in Africa.
Across East Africa, we have the resources, markets and capacity to achieve much more together. I have always believed that Africans will build Africa — by investing in one another and building the industries that will move our continent forward.
Thank you, General Salim Saleh and the OWC team, for a productive exchange.

Appreciation to the @MoWT_Uganda for the work done at River Katonga. The completion and opening of the bridge to the public is a welcome development for motorists and communities using this route. It is also encouraging to see the ongoing works around Lwera. @assempebwa @ainbyoo
You guys just proved @crazy_kennar right.... 😂😂😂😂

Our people still struggle to distinguish between these two roads. Understanding that difference makes all of us safer!
The Kampala–Entebbe Expressway [often incorrectly called the “Express HIGHWAY”] is an EXPRESSWAY, not an ordinary highway. That distinction matters!
📸 Photo 1: The Kampala–Entebbe Expressway. Notice the 100 km/h speed limit. It is a controlled-access expressway designed for uninterrupted traffic flow. There are no pedestrian crossings, traffic signals or junctions.
Passenger loading, parking (except emergencies), pedestrians, motorcycles below 400cc and dangerously loaded vehicles are not permitted.
📸 Photo 2: The Munyonyo–Kajjansi SPUR. Although it was built as part of the Kampala–Entebbe Expressway project, it is NOT an expressway. It has junctions, pedestrian crossings and other normal traffic interactions, including traffic signals with a speed limit of 80 km/h.
Different operating rules!

It's Munyonyo Express and still part of Entebbe-Express. @assempebwa

There is just something about the mountains that reminds us of how big, creative, and amazing our God is. Every peak and valley reflects the beauty of His hands. A reminder that we are surrounded by His creation and blessed by His presence.
Debt may weigh down a man's shoulders, but it should never crush his spirit. Fortunes can be rebuilt, but hope must never be lost.
A man doesn't always drown in water; sometimes he drowns in debt, when the weight of money begins to sink him.

Poverty also robs time. In their book, Scarcity, authors Sendhil Mullainathan and Eldar Shafir show that scarcity affects the way people manage their time. Those less financially wealthy are often time-poor.
