Today is my last day as Librarian at school, I have been here for over 20 years and this is a very emotional day! Thorpe has educated my 3 children and I have made many friends here, I will miss my wonderful colleagues and the students but am looking forward to a new challenge ♥️

Did you know that on average, the UK adult spends 4.8 hours on their phone each day?
Why not try putting some of that time towards a book?

Children still love books. If you can make books available & accessible - books they actually want to read - they WILL read them! So we have to do everything possible to make sure every single child gets the support they need to become readers. #literacy
