FULL PRESS RELEASE: FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE KENOSHA, Wis. — The Kenosha County District Attorney’s Office formally charged Andrew Allen Berg, 48, of Kenosha, with 22 new criminal counts on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Berg is a former Democrat candidate for sheriff and former county board supervisor. The new case, Kenosha County Case No. 2026CF1332, includes 18 felony charges and four misdemeanor charges: • Delivery of between 10 and 50 grams of methamphetamine; • Delivery of between 1 and 5 grams of cocaine; • Two counts of delivering a prescription drug; • Possession with intent to deliver prescription drugs; • Maintaining a drug-trafficking place; • Felony possession of methamphetamine-related drug paraphernalia; • Possession of a hazardous substance with intent to abuse it; • Two counts of possession of cocaine; • Possession of THC; and • Eleven counts of felony bail jumping. According to the criminal complaint, the investigation included a September 12 traffic stop. Investigators recovered approximately 34.6 grams of methamphetamine, 1.1 grams of cocaine, methamphetamine paraphernalia, packaging material, a scale, loaded syringes, and prescription medication from bags that Berg was observed placing inside the vehicle. On September 15, the Kenosha Drug Operations Group executed a search warrant at Berg’s Kenosha residence. According to the complaint, investigators recovered cocaine, THC, numerous glass pipes, drug paraphernalia, used needles, prescription medications issued to another person, ammunition, a digital scale, and other drug-related evidence. At the time of the conduct described in the complaint, Berg was released on a $75,000 cash bond in Kenosha County Case No. 2025CF1783. That pending case includes 13 felony charges involving manufacturing or delivering controlled substances, possessing controlled substances with intent to deliver, maintaining a drug-trafficking place, and straw purchasing firearms. The bond conditions prohibited Berg from possessing drug paraphernalia or committing another crime. The new complaint charges Berg with violating those conditions, resulting in 11 felony bail-jumping counts. Berg appeared in court on Thursday, September 17. The District Attorney’s Office requested a $150,000 cash bond and argued that the new charges demonstrated that Berg had not learned from his first arrest. The Court ordered a $75,000 cash bond. “Mr. Berg was already out on a $75,000 cash bond and is facing 13 additional serious felony charges,” District Attorney Xavier Solis said. “The new complaint describes continued drug activity despite those charges and court-ordered conditions. We will continue aggressively prosecuting drug-trafficking cases in Kenosha County.” District Attorney Solis thanked the Kenosha Drug Operations Group and the Kenosha County Sheriff’s Office for their continued investigative work. The filing of a criminal charge is not proof of guilt. Andrew Berg is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in a court of law.
