Nobody splits up a construction business. You hand down the trucks, the crew, the whole thing. In farming everybody carves off a piece for one kid and a piece for another, and the one actually running it gets left something that doesn't work.

More people will be flipping #4 and #5 going forward, mostly because of housing costs (especially in HCOL areas). Young first-time buyers will need the liquid stocks gains from taxable brokerages to build sizeable down payments to make their mortgages close to affordable.

New crop corn just posted a new high for the year yesterday. Since 2004 new crop corn has never posted its highest price for the year in March. There is three months weā€™ve never posted our highs. March, September, and October. 12 of the 22 years the highs came between May and July. The last two years will clearly tell you anything is possible.
