When I was in high school there was this course everyone had to take called Iowa Survival that even included the now worthless skill of writing checks. We also had the option of taking Algebra 2. This just another example of liars & trolls presenting people with false choices.
You don’t have to be an Iowa State fan to root for Demarion Watson. In the era of NIL & the open transfer portal he could have gone somewhere else for more minutes. Instead he has studied & improved his game. Here is hoping he becomes a major contributor next year.

Generally I have a don’t be a jerk rule. If someone wants to be called they/them, do it. It is no skin off your nose. In the same spirit, if the wrong pronoun is said, the person on the receiving end should realize the world doesn’t revolve around them & mistakes get made.
