GODZILLA MINUS ZERO Will Again TEACH HOLLYWOOD How to make a $300 Million Movie For a Reasonable Price... 2023's GODZILLA MINUS ONE Raised Eyebrows in Hollywood when arguably the best movie of the year, an action CGI Blockbuster, was made for $15 Million. INDIANA JONES and THE DIAL OF DESTINY🤮 was made for $419 Million, FAST X $340 Million, MISSION IMPOSSIBLE $291 Million. GODZILLA MINUS ONE was not only cheaper than these movies, but far better! The Sequel, MINUS ZERO, Debuts in THREE DAYS at the 2026 New York Film Festival and releases wide in North America on Nov. 6 for the low cost of $30 Million. Can it repeat it's success against other 2026 movies like: AVATAR 4 ($350 Million) MASTERS OF THE UNIVERSE ($200 Million) SUPERGIRL ($170 Million) GMZ hasn't even come out yet, and I bet it's already better than all three of those movies combined. JAMES GUNN has a BATMAN problem and it's bigger than people realize... Despite our critisms of LANTERNS and SUPERGIRL, we want D.C. to succeed. But Gunn's hands were tied from the beginning. The moment DAVID ZASLAV said, "Thanks James, but we already have a Battison. Matt Reeves made us a ton with THE BATMAN, so find some other superheroes to build your movie universe around." Like who? The Flash? That would be weird considering we just had that movie. Aquaman? We traded him in for a Lobo. Green Lantern? We tried that crappy LANTERNS TV show. Superman, we got! But the world won't go see a superman movie en masse... But they show up for Batman movies! Seriously, Batman movies have earned $6.76 BILLION against Superman's $3.9 Billion. Both have 10 movies under the belts and there is no doubt the Caped Crusader beats the crap out of the Man of Steel for worldwide audiences. Wonder Woman? We could do that but apparently she's playing Maxima in Man of Tomorrow, we'll see. Who else is there? No one. This is why we got Supergirl, a Lantern mess, Gorilla Grodd staring Jimmy Olsen and Clay face? Does this sound like the best way to set up your Justice League? NO! Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman! You have to have the big 3. Then add Green Lantern, The Flash, Aquaman and sprinkle in some others for flavor. But there is no Justice League without Batman and you don't give a guy like Gunn with the balls to tuen Peacemaker into a main character A REASON to start flirting with random who gives a crap superheroes... because he will do it! And he's good at it. But it won't be enough to save DC. All the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY, SUICIDE SQUADS or PEACEMAKER weirdo successes won't be enough to fill the void of a missing JUSTICE LEAGUE. Gunn better hope Clayface crushes at the box office because his choice in writers rooms for Lanterns makes me wonder if Gorilla Grodd won't be the same garbage. And if Man of Tomorrow lays a financial egg? That's it for Gunn's D.C. because THE BATMAN 2 is going to make its money and Warner Brothers won't care if Gunn's hands are tied. Yep, He was Dead All Along! And JOHN Literally Takes The RING Off HAL'S DEAD BODY in this episode of LANTERNS! 😂🤣😂🤣😂 Next week when John opens Hals storage box thanks to HAL-OGRAM and finds a spare Lantern in there, charges the ring to go after Sinestro so the Guardians make him Green Lantern after Guy Gardner gets hit by a bus off screen, I GUESS STEWART WILL FINALLY HAVE EARNED THE RING Right... NOT! What was the point of him giving up the ring last episode? Hal, his parents and the fake guardian all told him he'd have to take it off Hals dead body... and that's exactly how he ends up with the ring anyways! LOL Questions about this episode... - Why is Hal and John's mom prison pals? What is the logical reason? Why is John's mom suddenly so reasonable? - Why is Hal in Prison? The Manhunter was the one killing all of the townsfolk. The exploding Aliens killed Macon and all his men. John Stewart killed Zoe. I recall Hal trying to save as many people as he could on the streets? Did everyone forget that the exploding Aliens told Stewart to give them the manhunter or they would explode the whole town? When Hal said the manhunter was Macon, what's the difference if they say it's Zoe? She also would be where Macon is and would have killed the same people! - Why did Hal take a head shot at point blank range and not fall backward? Why is he positioned sitting straight up? - Why did Stewart shed a tear for Jordan when they have shown us nothing in this show that would make us believe he cares for Jordan? - How did guy Gardner see a 100 foot spotlight in Nebraska from Metropolis? - Why would the Sherriff get unreasonably angry in her home for Stewart beating up her ex husband if she was only putting him in prison to protect him and as a show to make them think she isn't on his side? - Why did Noah bring Stewart a suit? Where the hell did he get one that would fit him? What was the point? - What was the point of the cafe girl who saw John with Hal threaten him and ask him for money or she would tell the Sherriff, when it obviously didn't matter? - Why in Episode 5 did they make a big deal about Hal chipping a piece of his ring to create the HAL- OGRAM if it didn't matter and Stewart is able to point the ring and just make it appear this episode? Do any Green Lantern comic fans out there think this Hal and John are accurate representations of the characters that have been created? I'm frankly embarrassed by the writing in this show. It's supremely amateur. It's obvious they are writing scenes backwards because most of the characters come across as bi-polar in different episodes. This errors make you think they are setting up something cool down the road, but the truth is the opposite. What you see is what you get and if the characters are doing or saying things that don't make sense, it's not part of some grand plan the writers have cooked up. Zack Cregger is the new movie King of Horror! His RESIDENT EVIL is the best video game movie experience I've ever seen and Austin Abrams turns out one of the best performances of the year! This makes 3 wins in a row for Cregger after BARBARIAN, WEAPONS and now RESIDENT EVIL. If you are a fan of Evil Dead 2, you will feel the inspiration right down to Abrams channeling the character of Ash in Bryan. There is no better Survival Horror movie based on a video game and it comes with Cregger's signature uncomfortable horror humor. This is a movie you will want to see in theaters! Will RESIDENT EVIL Live up to the Expectations of a Zach Cregger film? (WEAPONS, BARBARIAN) I have a Concern and a Hope! CONCERN: One of the things that makes this director so good is his uncanny ability to make you burst with nervous laughter by creating absurd tension in a scene. Take WEAPONS for example and the scene where the mind controlled mother is creepily walking out to the car with a pair of scissors. I watched the movie three times in theaters and each time the audience was freaked with laughter. It was great. Unfortunately, Cregger has removed much of the humor from the film after test screenings and while he feels like audiences like the film better, I am concerned that we are going to lose the element that really makes both Weapons and Barbarian stand out amidst a throng of recent horror flicks... the Cregger touch. HOPE: I trust Cregger. Everything he's made has been good and the studio has given him control of Resident Evil, so it doesn't seem like he's operating under someone else's control. If he truly likes this movie better without the humor, then I am going to trust his decision... until I don't. Ultimately, I am walking into this movie with optimism and the promise if a $35 Million plus opening weekend. Resident Evil is expected to be the biggest Domestic opening in franchise history and considering the success of Paul W.S. Anderson's movies, that's saying something.
