The Guest of Honor for the 2026 National HIV as AIDS Symposium will be Minister for the Presidency Hon. Babirye Milly Babalanda.
The theme this year is “Sustainable Interventions to End AIDS as a Public Health Threat by 2030.”
Venue: Mbarara University of Science and Technology, Pharmacology Grounds.

Our Annual General Meeting was held today.
We had the privilege of coming together for reflection, accountability, dialogue, and renewed commitment to the work we do in the communities.

A 5-day oversight visit for the ”No means No” Project implemented by TASO, ended in Mbarara today. The Ministries of Health, Education, labour & Social development, Uganda AIDS commission & TASO have worked together to empower 4860 young Girls and Boys to end sexual violence.

We are proud to have partnered with Bugiri District for the "Bugiri District Malaria Walk" to promote the "End Malaria campaign" , held today in Bugiri.
In the videos, Dr. Miya Yunus,Chief Programs addressed walk participants, while pupils received mosquito nets.

ALT NSSF's Chief People and Culture Officer Mr. Milton Stephen Owor addressed staff and young people and re affirmed the funds commitment to support the community by supporting initiatives that improve livelihoods and enhance self reliance. He noted TASO Soroti was selected after consultations with TASO headquarters where the Centers vocational skills project was cited as making an impact amongst the young people.
