ERJ: The TARGET trial was a multicentre randomised trial comparing PET-CT targeted pleural biopsy to standard CT-guided pleural biopsy for suspected pleural malignancy. The results do not support the practice of PET-CT to guide pleural biopsies. bit.ly/40HOY6p
Today we have completed recruitment to the TACTIC trial, with the 124th participant randomised by the Bristol team @BristolARU @ResearchNBT Congratulations to ALL the research teams, PIs, patients and carers who have helped us to reach this milestone.
