Thank you to neurosurgeon and congressional candidate @DrJohnCowan for joining us virtually at the #ACSCC26 Grassroots Network Meeting! We appreciated hearing his perspective on surgeon advocacy, his path to public service, and the importance of surgeons making their voices heard. When surgeons speak up and get involved, they help shape the policies that affect their profession and their patients. Your voice matters — use it!

Thank you to Senators @JohnBoozman, @SenPeterWelch, @RogerMarshallMD, @SenAngusKing, @SenThomTillis, and @SenatorShaheen for leading the way in introducing the bipartisan Provider Reimbursement Stability Act. We look forward to working with you to continue addressing outdated budget neutrality policies and advancing Medicare physician payment reform. This bill is an important step toward modernizing Medicare physician payment. The bill would help create a more stable, predictable payment system that better reflects the cost of delivering care.
