Here’s a look inside LPGA golfer Jaravee Boonchant’s training routine and how SuperSpeed fits into the process with Team Glorius.
Strength training is an important foundation for developing clubhead speed. But there’s a difference between being able to produce force in the gym and being able to apply it during a golf swing that happens in a fraction of a second.
That’s where combining strength and speed training becomes so valuable.
🏋️ BUILD STRENGTH – Develop the physical capacity to produce more force through traditional strength and conditioning exercises.
⚡ TRAIN EXPLOSIVENESS – Improve your ability to generate force quickly through dynamic, high-velocity movements.
🚀 DEVELOP SWING SPEED – Use SuperSpeed OverSpeed Training to practice moving faster than your normal golf swing and develop the ability to produce higher clubhead speeds.
🎯 TRANSFER IT TO THE COURSE – Combine physical development with golf-specific speed training to help turn improvements in the gym into performance with a driver.

Your grip might be strong in the gym. But how strong is it at the TOP of your backswing? 💪
The top of the backswing is one of the most important positions to develop golf-specific grip strength.
Why?
As the club transitions from backswing to downswing, your hands and forearms must manage changing forces while maintaining control of the club.
Grip strength is not exactly the same at every wrist position and joint angle.
That’s why we developed drills like the Two-Hand Squeeze at the Top using the SuperSpeed Squeeze.
🔵 Position-Specific Strength: Train your grip in the actual positions where you need to apply force during the golf swing.
🔵 Isometric Strength: Develop the ability to generate and maintain grip force while holding the top-of-backswing position.
🔵 Club Control: Strengthen the hands and forearms that help you manage the club during the transition and downswing.
🔵 Better Transfer to Golf: Complement traditional gym training with exercises that challenge grip strength in golf-specific positions.
The goal is to develop strength you can actually use during your golf swing.
Try this Two-Hand Squeeze drill at the top of your backswing and discover a different way to train your grip.

Are your speed gains showing up on the golf course?
It's one thing to swing faster during a training session or on the range. It's another thing to stand on the first tee, driver in hand, and actually make that faster swing when it counts.
That's where a Handheld Radar the PRGR Launch Monitor becomes one of the most valuable tools in your toolkit so you can measure your real on-course speed.

How can stepping motions improve club head speed?
In this new episode of Paddy’s Golf Tips, @padraig_h covers gound reaction forces and the correct movement of the feet in the swing.
Padraig demonstrates this through a double stepping motion that can be practised in the gym, as well as on the practise ground using @SuperSpeedGolf sticks and a driver. He also shows how mastering the coordination and timing translates into increased swing speed.

Your grip might be strong in the gym. But is it strong where it matters most in your golf swing? 💪
Traditional grip strength training is great for building general strength. But gripping a dynamometer or squeezing a hand gripper isn’t the same as controlling a golf club moving at high speeds.
Golfers need to develop grip strength in the actual positions and movements of the golf swing.
Here’s why:
🔵 1. Strength is position-specific. Your wrists, hands, and forearms experience different demands throughout the swing. Training grip strength at address, the top of the backswing, and other key positions helps develop strength and control at those specific joint angles.
🔵 2. Static strength matters. At the top of the backswing, your hands must maintain control of the club while preparing to change direction. Isometric grip training in this position challenges your ability to generate and maintain force without movement.
🔵 3. Dynamic strength matters too. During transition and the downswing, the club is accelerating and changing direction. Your grip must respond to rapidly changing forces while maintaining control of the club.
🔵 4. Stronger doesn’t automatically mean faster. General gym strength provides a foundation, but golfers also need to learn how to apply that strength during high-speed movements. That’s where golf-specific training becomes important.
Don’t just train how hard you can squeeze.
Train your grip statically AND dynamically, at different joint angles, and in the positions where you actually need that strength during the swing.
We developed the SuperSpeed Squeeze as an easy way for golfers to train this way alongside 3 levels of guided protocols in the SuperSpeed App.
3️⃣ reasons why the new SuperSpeed Speed Sticks Pro are good for warming up before a round from David Jensen
1. The Grip: your hands have to be warmed up too, and to me, a larger grip provides a gentler warmup than trying to squeeze a narrow grip early in the morning.
2. It forces me into deep rage of motion: it’s been well known for a while that bringing your body into more ROM than you need in the golf swing is a great way to warm up. The extra weight allows me to get into that ROM.
3. It lets me know when it’s actually time to start. Your body changes day to day and it takes longer to warm up sometimes. With the PRGR monitor I am able to see when I am consistently swinging at my typical speed, and then I know it’s go time.
We have 2 pre-round warmup specific protocols built into the SuperSpeed App to ensure you are ready when getting to the first tee.

How Abby Marting gained 15mph of club head speed in less than a year with SuperSpeed Golf
“My coach introduced me to the SuperSpeed sticks my senior year of college. In just three 10 minute trainings a week, I saw quick progression in speed and distance on the course.
I truly believe in this product, and is honestly a huge part of how I was able to pursue long drive (and I’m still getting faster).”

Always get a baseline before beginning a speed training program
In the SuperSpeed App, we collect both driver and 7 iron club speed, ball speed, and carry distance to ensure you know where you started and what progress you made.
Each speed session with the SuperSpeed Sticks is then tracked so you have a comprehensive view of the changes from following the protocols.
Video-Drew Cooper
Dr. Greg Rose with a gem: the best players don't just turn hard, they match their wrists to their rotation.
The sequence on the downswing
1️⃣The lead wrist flexes to close the face
2️⃣The wrists unhinge into Ulnar Deviation
3️⃣The lead forearm rotates into supination
Miss this match up and the face often stays open, no matter how hard you turn.
This is exactly why we built our Lag/Wrist Mechanics and SuperSpeed Squeeze App protocols. They train this downswing loading pattern. And the SuperSpeed Squeeze builds the grip and forearm strength to hold lag deeper and square the face at real speed.
More stored energy + a square face = more distance.
