Goodman is an Assistant Professor at Chicago-Kent College of Law and an Innovator in Residence at MIT, where she studies who receives credit for invention and how intellectual property law shapes recognition and opportunity.
It's a question that goes beyond legal theory: who gets recognized as an inventor often decides who gets funding, credibility, and a seat at the table next time.
