Almost 20 years of my life cheering this one man. I loved Ronaldinho before him, but it was not this deep. From one goal to another, one scandal to another, one smile to another, one win to another, and loss. Almost felt like I knew him personally - even though it was just good media work.
My GOAT athlete has retired.
I’m back to being a Nigerian Football Supporter.
I don’t even know to feel.
Inspirational! Especially for people like me who feel like we have nothing except God and a violently dangerous work ethic!

There are these videos of “my first time in a fancy cafe” where someone sits on the table and then someone else sits on the slab and uses the table properly. My thought is always “how did the table support the weight of the first guy?”
Must truly be a fancy restaurant.

The only reason a video of me like this didn’t trend the week they dragged me last, is that the guys around me were kind enough to delete the videos from their phone 🤣🤣🤣
Too ticklish.
I pity the man.
I may have peed myself from all the laughter.

I have known this kid, who has now grown into a man, for 7 years.
7 whole years!
No issues. No stress. Just pure bliss.
Daniel, I genuinely believe God used you to reward my years of loyal service.
And I have served.
In some places, I have walked away with joy and beautiful relationships. In other places, I HAVE WALKED AWAY WITH REGRETS, yet with thanksgiving in my heart for everything.
But through it all, I have served sincerely, honestly, and wholeheartedly. In service to God and His people.
And I am deeply grateful to have you in my corner. To have had you in my corner all these years.
Thank you for looking out for me.
Thank you for your impeccable work with our media.
Thank you for how fiercely you defend me and how passionately you believe in this work.
Thank you for praying for me, sometimes when I didn’t even know how much I needed those prayers.
Thank you for how quickly you listen, receive corrections, and put them to work. That quality is rare, and I never take it for granted.
Many times, I have wished and prayed that God would send every minister his own Daniel.
But I am especially glad He sent you my way.
You have been a gift, a blessing, and a beautiful part of my journey. And I hope you know how much I appreciate you.
May the years ahead be even more beautiful than the years behind you. May God honour your loyalty, reward your labour, enlarge your capacity, and give you many reasons to smile.
May the evil words of men spoken against you and your service, raise unrelenting indignation against them.
I love and celebrate you, man!
Happy birthday, man of God!
Happy birthday, Daniel!

I can’t read this without thinking “AA, Alpha. Affordable”
The simultaneous attacks on the presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore @sowore, and the governorship candidate of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) in Sokoto State, His Excellency Manir Muhammad Dan'iya, are deeply troubling and unacceptable.
These twin assaults expose the extent to which the ruling APC administration is prepared to oppress and intimidate opposition leaders and their supporters.
It is particularly disturbing that while President Bola Tinubu is away on spiritual pilgrimage, political enforcers and thugs loyal to his party are unleashing terror on his political opponents at home. These two realities cannot coexist in a democracy.
The continued attacks on opposition figures and the unexplained disappearance of critical social media influencers are clear red flags of a dangerous slide toward a censored state where the opposition is crushed by the brute force of the current government.
These incidents are unbecoming of any democratic government and starkly reveal the desperation of the Tinubu administration.
We therefore demand immediate and transparent investigations into both attacks. The Tinubu government must refrain from any attempt to muzzle the opposition and must guarantee a free, fair, and competitive contest in the forthcoming general elections.
I have it on good authority that a local security outfit in Sokoto State has been harassing ADC supporters, manhandling citizens simply for wearing ADC merchandise.
We shall resist every ongoing attempt to cancel political opposition in Nigeria. The ruling APC has failed in its mandate. Nigerians must be allowed to freely participate in an electoral contest that will determine the fate of this administration. -AA

BREAKING: UPDATE ON EBOLA DISEASE IN NIGERIA
Two suspected cases of Ebola disease have been identified in Nigeria’s North-East region. Both individuals have been isolated, contact identification and listing is ongoing, and laboratory testing is being conducted.
Being classified as suspected cases does not mean they are confirmed Ebola cases; confirmation is subject to laboratory results.
The public is advised to maintain good hand hygiene, practise enhanced sanitation and follow guidance from public health authorities.
Further updates will be provided as verified information becomes available.

“The church is the problem of Nigeria.
See Dr Paul Eneche hanging out with Wike, walking the bridge signifying how they are crossing from PDP to APC.
All pastors should be arrested.
He has used tithe money to build bridge that his members cannot afford to cross”

Omoyele Sowore is “alleging” that armed men sponsored by the government came to abduct him and injured the men with him. This allegation is on his Facebook page.
But that’s not the issue.
It’s Nigerians in his comments making all kinds of jokes and silly remarks. The same Nigerians he claims to be fighting for, making a mockery of what should be investigated with all seriousness.
Fighting for this nation and her people ehn, is an extreme sport.
I understand why many religious leaders choose silence or at best choose to fight and attack each other, rather than speak up about what good governance should look like.
ShebI Jesus didn’t say anything about the government of his days, so why should we?
I understand it now.

Just saw a video where a former actor turned politician was praising the letter “A”. “Alpha Alpha, Excellence, Affordability”. He mentioned Atiku as “A” went to Amaechi, and himself “Arinze” as “A”.
Then the host of the show said “Ahmed” for Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the actor agreed at first, then in the clearest Igbo tone ever, said “heeeei you’ve just fouled this situation”
That “heeeei” made me laugh so hard.
😂😂😂😂

If you own a laptop, internet, at least 12 hours light and you see food to eat after spending money on all of these, you are one step away from generational wealth ❌
Omo, being from and living in Nigeria ehn is an extreme thing.
Maybe if we had good leaders, we will not need to provide all these things for ourselves, and would be able to focus on creating the wealth for a generation.
But God helps us.
Seven years ago, God began a work.
Today, as we look back, one thing is undeniable: this journey could only have been made possible by the help of God.
Some journeys look beautiful when told in stories, but only those who have walked them know the weight they carry.
