It's hard not to be incredibly suspicious of accounts who refuse to use independent thought about the trial, and just glue themselves to "the verdict". The absence of rationale that even attempts to dismiss the evidence other than attacking the source, suggests a collective narrative, and not independent consensus. #LucyLetby
Once again, the past is an immutable fact as an event; this is true, but the conclusions drawn as to how that event happened are not and should be open to challenge. Unless, of course, research, for example, has now become the establishment of facts, not a contribution to knowledge. Maybe I should try omitting the limitations section and just end with "this is a fact because that's what I say my data meant". #LucyLetby

Well no, because all of that bad character evidence, is cumulatively combined with evidence she killed two babies with insuline, others with AE or detached breathing tubes, overfed babied, faked notes, lied repeatedly oh, ans got convicted of murder 7 x in a trial in crown court. So there is a lot more to be fair.

Your expression, “a constellation of evidence,” is more apposite than perhaps you realise.
All your carefully curated arguments — plausible and possible (yet unlikely) though each one is — require careful, deliberate, imaginative construction: one must focus on non-contiguous components that are capable of bearing a load, while ignoring inconvenient ones that would upset it.
One must, close an eye, squint, stand on one leg and hold the rabbit’s ears in exactly the right place to get even a grainy signal.
It is *exactly* a constellation, for that is just how we see a “constellation”. From our specific, unique standpoint it happens looks like a saucepan! But, out there, in the cosmos — in reality — there is no saucepan.
The stars are in altogether different systems, unrelated and have nothing to do with each other.
So it is with these fantastical arguments that paint Ms. Letby as a murderer.
But there’s a much simpler explanation for all of this, that doesn’t require all this imagination, concentration, and willing suspension of disbelief: that nothing happened at all. There were no murders. These were unfortunate collapses of very sick children in an intensive care unit. These things happen.
You might say, “How is it that so many people have been taken in by this mirage?” but we know this has happened multiple times before. You don’t need me to cite the case examples. This is how complex systems, full of badly incentivised people, behave. They make terrible decisions.
