Look Back feels genuinely life changing. It's a masterful piece, not only touching artists and creatives around the world, but also a crucial centerpiece for the Anime and Manga industry and its history. It will live on forever.

While I understand the distaste towards its abruptness, It's likely a sacrifice to help end season 2 at the best place. S1 = 23 chapters (Arc ends at 29, but its dense to there) S2 likely ends on chapter 40 Context of this ending changes entire story & will have everyone crying
Sha👑@ShaKing807Oct 15
No disrespect to the actual content or quality of WHA but ending the first cour in the middle of a scene in the middle of an arc was one of the worst adaptation decisions I've seen in a while and not having an established S2 date absolutely kills the momentum for anime onlys

why use ai when shueisha could have a magazine for veteran authors to create with no schedule Ishida's been doing this for years, changed both his life and artwork for the better Take Gege, Hori, Togashi, Isayama, put them in one mag to cook however they want, it'll work

The discourse around GenAI is so radioactive that even some of the most accomplished creators get their artist card revoked by the anti-AI mob for even suggesting the technology could be useful in reducing labor-time for manga which famously ruins artists' health & social lives.

Chainsaw Man's ending feels like a cycle, like Pochita has erased himself before. The World is so fundamentally broken that only a reset will fix it. Perhaps everything will now find a natural balance with death being born again. Eventually the world will birth Pochita too.

🧙‍♀️NEW VID! ⚔️ Tsutomu Nihei has always been a master of conveying scale within his works. His background work is always awe-worthy, and in Tower Dungeon, it's no different. Nihei's on-going dark fantasy is some of his best work yet - so, let's discuss! youtu.be/qy8frUqwkvw

This may seem over the top The art is so detailed that perhaps some directional readability is lost in the motion. So the smaller panels are framed to bring your natural reading focus to the middle. Works twice as they're the core of destruction, the linework spawns from them

Genuinely what is the purpose of these panels
