Alex crook spent months character assassinating Ruben Amorim. Every single week “win ratio’s” would come out and abuse would follow. The same Alex Crook now won’t say a word against Michael Carrick. Because he’s English and an ex player. There’s a word for that..@alex_crook

This is going to be the dirty game in the history of house help markets. Pronto collects the data from high volume markets like India and sells it to giants in the US and likely moving forward there would be no surprise if Pronto business model would completely become as the data collection agency where current model would become the acquisition channel to collect the data. Ain't this joke? Collecting the sensitive the data (location, things in the house..etc) is just scary. If she can do this why not more powerful and credible companies like @Starlink getting access to enter the Indian market? Why did you incorporate the entity in the US when @anjalisardana could have just collected the data, stored in India and create the physical infra for the giants instead of selling the sensitive data? Btw, entity is active and was incorporated in July, so I think they might have already signed few contracts with the global companies.
🚨Scoop: Pronto founder Anjali Sardana has set up a new venture in the US Provision Labs will operate in the physical AI space - and will focus on collecting data to train, test AI systems designed to perform real-world tasks using robots and other machines @ETtech

LTCG removal for listed equities alone for all investors including Indian residents will be a big blow for domestic venture capital and private equity as well as other real economy assets like InvITs, REITs and real estate: once again, investors will rationally decide not to invest in venture funds, startups and other real assets. They will prefer financial assets which have zero tax. Please think rationally - do you want people to invest in tomorrow’s Zomato, Ather Energy, Paytm and others (including many startups that won’t be home runs, but will create many jobs and drive capital investment), or do you want people to invest with zero tax into Britannia Industries, Tata Power, Reliance and other established companies. This distorted taxation was especially a challenge for strategic, deep tech sectors where foreign investors anyways don’t invest (foreign pensions, endowments and others are usually barred from investing in defence tech and critical tech). Don’t crib tomorrow then, why doesn’t India have venture capital investing in hard tech or why don’t Indian startups innovate more. A few years of volatility and flat returns has entire jamaat of stock market “investors” crying buckets. Grow up, if you can’t stomach this level of turbulence, stick to bank fixed deposits.
Dear FM @nsitharaman, if LTCG & STT are removed, the stock market will soar, FIIs will return, rupee will strengthen & the value of 80 listed PSUs will rise. Please do it.

Fans hold a banner reading “Standards” at Old Trafford then applaud the guy responsible for lowering them. Now we’re stuck with a manager that has no clear football philosophy, and is ok with his players being outrun every week.👍

We need a separate #JammuPradesh asap
Cabinet Expansion or Cabinet of Exceptions? FROM TODAY, J&K CM OMAR ABDULLAH CABINET WILL HAVE NO REPRESENTATION FROM JAMMU. Four new ministers have been inducted, all from the Kashmir Valley. Meanwhile, Jammu-based minister Satish Sharma has been dropped. Voters of Jammu being punished for overwhelmingly voting for BJP? Doesn't the latest expansion deepen the regional imbalance?

‘Michael Carrick will be given time to turn things around’ and ‘the hierarchy do not want to rush next steps’ should be read and digested for what it really is: an indecisive club without any succession planning or contingencies because it doesn’t have clarity of identity in the first place. A club that often takes the cheap instead of the smart or right route because of the crippling Glazer debt, plus decision-makers who are never aligned - except in their own self-preservation. And it ends up costing more. It explains the chaotic nature of lurching from one coaching philosophy to its extreme, to revisiting candidates that were on the agenda - some as far back as 2019 - that were already ruled out, to having a shortlist of options with nothing in common to take over a mishmash team that has suffered from horrid squad planning; both in incomings and exits. Blame the players, blame the name in the dugout while the people who brought them to Manchester United, kept them, created the absolute opposite of a culture of excellence are allowed to rinse and repeat.

This is the original video. How far the Congress Party will go to defame India & tarnish the image of Indian Army? Congress Party is becoming more dangerous for the nation. We can fight our external enemies but it's very difficult to fight the enemies hidden inside the country.
Congress Party must apologize to the nation for spreading fake AI video to tarnish the image of Indian Army. यह एक विश्वासघाती कृत्य है और हमारे दुश्मनों के घिनौने कामों के बराबर है। कांग्रेस पार्टी भारत के दुश्मनों का घटिया अभियान चला रही है।

Claude Code just found proof that every app on your phone is listening to your conversations. TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat. they're using what you say out loud to build your feed. i have the data to prove it. i've suspected this for months but last week something happened that made me finally check. i was on a call with my friend and told him i'm thinking about breaking up with my girlfriend. didn't text it. didn't search it. just said it out loud with my phone on the table. two hours later she opens TikTok next to me and her entire feed is breakups. "signs your relationship is over." "how to heal after a breakup." she looked at me and said "why is TikTok showing me this." i said i don't know. but i did know. i connected my iPhone to my MacBook and ran Claude Code that same night. it scanned every app's background microphone activity for the last 90 days. not just the apps that asked for microphone permission. apps that were supposed to only have access to photos or location but were activating the microphone anyway. what it found: → TikTok activated the microphone 347 times while the app was "closed" in the background → Instagram → 211 background activations → Facebook → 189 → Snapchat → 94 every activation lasted between 3 and 15 seconds. enough to catch a sentence. every one of them tagged a keyword and cached it locally on the phone with a timestamp. Claude Code pulled the full keyword cache: → "breakup" — tagged 4 hours before her feed changed → "moving out" — from a conversation with my mom last Tuesday → "wedding venue" — from a call with my sister about her engagement that i never searched once → "protein powder" — said it out loud to my roommate, had ads for it within an hour → "flight to tokyo" — mentioned it at dinner, saw travel ads the same night those keywords were sitting in a local cache on my phone organized by app with timestamps. TikTok had the most entries. Instagram was second. every single keyword matched a conversation i had out loud near my phone. the scariest one was "wedding venue." my sister told me she's getting engaged on a private call. i never searched it. never typed it. within a day my explore page had engagement rings and venue tours. then Claude Code checked a second phone in the same room. my girlfriend's. same keywords. same timestamps. both phones were picking up the same conversation and tagging it independently. i asked Claude Code how to shut it down. it mapped every app's microphone access and built a permission audit. what i did: → revoked microphone access from every app that doesn't need it to function → disabled background app refresh for TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, Snapchat → turned off "Hey Siri" which keeps the microphone in passive listening mode 24/7 → revoked "nearby interaction" permission which uses ultrasonic audio between devices Claude Code confirmed all four apps lost background microphone access after the changes. i checked her phone too. same steps. took about 3 minutes per phone. within 48 hours both our feeds went completely random. generic content. nothing personal. nothing from our conversations. that's when i knew for sure it was real. the full step by step and the prompt are in the first reply. takes 3 minutes. save it so you don't lose it and send it to anyone who's ever said "my phone is definitely listening to me." it is. now you can prove it and shut it down.

Government of India is arguing that innovation is important in biotech and drug development - and Supreme Court of India is pontificating against it, forcing government to include drugs in price control orders! The Court inserts itself into policymaking randomly, and plays to the gallery. Then we ask, why don’t Indian pharma players invest in R&D? Here is your answer. Any random entity (this time it is the Supreme Court) can wake up, and tell you what to do! They can create havoc in an industry.
"Why not a uniform margin cap of 16%. What is the rationale for leaving out drugs from the scope of price control orders" Supreme Court Observations Today -> Only when we started raising questions that the Govt woke up & reduced prices, NPPA seems defunct, acted only after we raised the issued -> People are living in a day dream that they will some day they will benefit from DPCO (drugs prices control order) -> Commission of corporate hospitals, provided by Pharma cos, who pays and who suffers? -> Policy is based on only one rationale - to benefit corporates -> Give 5 new molecules that have been developed by Indian pharma cos ? (In response to Govt's argument that innovation is as imp as availability) #Healthcare #Pharma #India #Nifty #BankNifty

Someone on Reddit built his wife a job search app. She is a junior software engineer, and her job search had dragged on for almost 10 months. Tailoring a resume for every posting took ages. So he built Dossier. It finds postings, then writes a tailored resume, cover letter and email for each job, using only facts from her profile. It tracks every application from draft to offer on a board, and it runs on your own server, with a local AI model option, so your data stays with you. She landed a job with it, so he open-sourced it for anyone in the same spot. It is free at github.com/AienTech/dossier.

I don’t want to hear that this Manchester United player is not good enough. A successful team is not built on superstars alone. It is built on structure, discipline, a clear identity, and players who share the same spirit and work together toward a common goal. Manchester United don’t lack quality players; we lack a footballing culture. We don’t need more superstars. We need a coach who can build a cohesive team, establish a clear footballing philosophy, and get the best out of the players we already have. Football is about building a team, not collecting individual talents. Until we understand that, we will keep struggling regardless of how many quality players we sign. Manchester United need a team that plays with identity, unity, and purpose, not just a collection of big names. #MUFC #EPL

It’s actually VERY odd that Kobbie Mainoo has never once put out a statement to disassociate himself with Jordan’s free Kobbie stunt. You people really don’t know how Mancunians know how to play mind games. He 100% planned that with Jordan and his sister paraded it too.
Mainoo and Rashford weren't punished for publicly disrespecting the club and fanbase but Bruno who didn’t was disgraced by Carrick. Kobbie Mainoo never for once apologized to the fans for his attitude, brother and family behavior of disrespecting the club but was played regardless. Rashford also disrespected the club but was played instantly he came into the club from Barcelona and never apologized to the fans. Bruno and martinez who spoke up cause they cared about the club are disgraced and disrespected by fans, ex players and pundits cause they are foreign players. What a shame.

There could be a full-scale war tomorrow morning - and the nation shall cook itself in these politely named “bureaucratic impasses”. This cabal of thugs, cheats, crooks, duffers and traitors are going to pummel the India story into pieces.
A depressing read on India’s critical minerals push/ India has auctioned 733 mineral blocks. Only 125 are actually producing. More than 600 mines are stuck in bureaucratic impasse. At a time when the world is racing for critical minerals and China controls the supply chain, the average gap between winning a block and starting production in India is more than seven years. The Centre’s own notes, prepared for the 6th national conference of chief secretaries, list the problems -fragmented land records, disputed land titles, no land banks set aside for compensatory afforestation, too many state cesses and levies, approvals that move from one department to the next, and weak rail cum port links for moving the ore. Mining brings in over ₹1.9 lakh crore a year, and about 90% of it goes to the states. So the states lose the most when a block sits idle, and they are also the ones who can fix most of these bottlenecks: including digitising land records, creating land banks, setting up single-window approvals. Critical minerals are now about energy security and strategic autonomy, not only revenue. A seven-year wait for a lithium or rare earth mine is something India cannot afford. via @anubhutivishnoi for @EconomicTimes

Kompany got Burnley relegated. He is now dominating the Bundesliga with Bayern and competing in the Champions League. Chivu barely had any senior managerial experience before taking over at Inter. He won the Scudetto in his first season. Both coaches had comparable managerial experience to Michael Carrick when they got those jobs. At Bayern or Inter, the manager is part of a functioning football structure, where recruitment, squad building and coaching are connected whereas at United, the manager is expected to fix everything including the failure of Berrada and Wilcox. Erik ten Hag and Ruben Amorim arrived at United as two of the hottest managers in European and failed due to how poor the club is run. Now Carrick has been failed by the same structure. You could take two random kids off the streets of Manchester and they would do a better job than Berrada and Wilcox have managed as CEO and Sporting Director so far.
