Why is Talarico courting oil and gas workers in his latest ad?
Because if Texans knew the truth about his record leading the charge against Texas energy, they'd never support him.
He's a radical leftist, literally leading protests against Texas oil and gas jobs
I'm attempting to land a job that requires a skillset in READING and REASONING from TEXT w/o the use of LLM MODELS. It was quite a shock to begin the assessments. FULL of vocabulary and more than 3 lines sometimes. The cure and the only way to practice up? MORE @Storyaliz

Replying to @SuGreer @Storyaliz
That is a perfect description. The end, even if you think you know it, is shocking.
There's still time to join this month's Scroll Call and we'll be announcing NEXT month's pick in about a week!
It's been awhile since I read the entire piece; so long that I was a bit shaken by the ending. . . and what actually caused the transformation. . . You should read it! @annbauerwriter @Storyaliz Looking forward to the next community read. Continuing w/Dracula and Frankenstein?

This and the forest maintained in Indiana to repair Old Ironsides (the USS Constitution)
Somehow it was learning how many people are fulltime employed to maintain the Golden Gate Bridge that flipped something inside of me in my understanding of the entropic force civilization has to constantly fight against. Before that moment I thought — I had not applied real conscious thought — you simply build a building or anything really and then you just … have it. After that I understood everything is constantly at the brink of being lost.
We're still here! Who's reading with us? Desktop or phone; just go to @Storyaliz and you'll be in the club: WITH ANN!

For 3 yrs I've been cleaning up errors from the LLM models. Sure, they can do many things; in fact one model that I've used can create an entire interactive science lesson w/ minimal prompting (incl videos & "art"). The catch? It's all INCORRECT. Some clients care, some don't.
JUST IN: Anthropic study finds AI & robots together are already capable of performing tasks covering 81% of U.S. employment.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
The Anthropic study measures technical exposure of ~80-81% of US job tasks (by working time) to LLMs or robots (mostly limited/structured settings for robots); robots are cost-competitive for only 0.3% of tasks with major barriers.

I spoke to one of the programmers of a website used to create lesson plans. I proposed that I tutor the LLM model that's the backbone of the website, in an attempt to "teach" it some basic scientific facts and correct its faulty ideas. The programmer responded: "not a priority"

These verses of Scripture bring comfort.
Today marks three years since the barbaric slaughter of October 7. Please pray for the families and friends of the precious people who were massacred. Please pray for healing and peace for the survivors.
This world is busted and broken.
Christians are being massacred in Nigeria, Uyghur Muslims are being tortured and killed in China, the citizens of Burma and Iran are being slaughtered by their own government. Persecution is escalating globally. Please pray.
Racism of every kind, bigotry and antisemitism is not only evil, it’s ignorant and stupid. The throne of God is made up of every tongue, tribe and nation. That is good news!
