Truth isn't good or bad. It just is. Truth doesn't change based on the rank of the recipient. If you can't state the evidence that would change your mind, you don't care about truth. Love your neighbor; no caveats. Goodness breeds goodness. Travel is fatal to bigotry & prejudice.

Ok, turning in for the night. Last thoughts: Beware of associational stink. Some things soap can't clean. Don't sell your soul for likes. Don't simp for Putin, ever. Tell the truth. Build real relationships. Meet your mutuals. Ask for help. Reach out in DMs. Be vulnerable. Love

Diocletian's palace in Split mat be the best accessible Roman ruins anywhere. Unlike Rome, Split isn't buried under 40' of fill. The basements/cellars were completely dug out by the 1970s (it took that long for anyone to care). Diocletians designed his mausoleum. It became the Cathedral of Split in the early 300s and is the oldest in the world. Look at that brick dome. Zoom in. The walls of the palace are still standing and have homes built in. The Vestibule to the imperial apartment has a hole. In the ceiling and the best acoustics around. This is really worth a trip. Recommend

Oldest public theater in Europe is on the island of Hvar in Hvar city, Croatia. Hosted first ball in 1611 then theater starting 1612. Floor seats plus 40 boxes. It was a real treat to just go in there and look around.

Pretty much all open markets in the world are the same. From Hachinohe to Sharjah to Split (here) to Istanbul to Leskovac to Bordeaux to Maimon. They're literally the same. From the scuzzy used hats to golden book finds, to persimmons to the box used in a m#rder scene. Continuity

Failed attempt to use a snarky throw-away line to show cleverness while exposing complete lack of understanding of anything mentioned. Likely thus with other topics as well.
The Catholic Church survived the Roman Empire, the Black Death, and the Reformation. It did not survive letting third-worlders become bishops.
