Professor Adam Wilomski has suggested two possibilities in this connection:
1. This happened without the knowledge of the Polish government, which showed amateurism - therefore Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz should resign.
2. This happened with the knowledge and consent of the government, which is openly dragging us into someone else’s war - therefore Defense Minister Kosiniak-Kamysz should resign.
As you can see, in both scenarios they are quite reasonably calling for the Polish minister’s head.

Trump may try to force Ukraine to make concessions to Russia before December
According to The Washington Post, Moscow is trying to use the Trump administration to secure Ukrainian concessions on Donbas. The Kremlin could later demand restrictions on Ukraine’s military capabilities as well.
Andrew Weiss, an expert at the Carnegie Endowment, believes Trump’s actions are linked to efforts to reach a political settlement on terms that could force Kyiv to make concessions.
A G20 summit is scheduled to take place in Miami in December, and Trump has invited Putin.
The Kremlin views these developments as a sign of closer ties between Moscow and Washington.

Poland is willing to consider joint border controls with Ukraine on Polish territory
This would allow border checkpoints to remain operational even if Russia destroys infrastructure on the Ukrainian side.
Poland would need to coordinate such a move with the European Commission.
Currently, legislation does not allow authorities from third countries to conduct border checks independently on the territory of the Schengen Area.

Attacks on St. Petersburg came from Estonian and Latvian airspace, bypassing AD systems. The Baltic states were active participants to this attack.
According to the MoD, 1015 drones of various types were shot down over multiple regions. All FP-5 "flamingo" missiles launched were also shot down.
An oil terminal was damaged but not critical. The VK data center was also targeted, but there were no internal damages, rather a building facade damage. An attack on OZON e-commerce warehouse took the most damage.
Flights were halted as safety protocol and have since resumed.

Ukraine’s strikes on St. Petersburg and drone incursions into NATO airspace raise an extremely serious question: How do we prevent this war from expanding?
Russia has accused Baltic countries of allowing their airspace to be used for Ukrainian attacks. Those governments deny it. Russia also claims that some attacks have been launched from Estonia, Latvia and Finland.
Imagine America’s response if an adversary attacked us through Canadian or Mexican airspace. Washington would demand answers immediately.
If any NATO government knowingly permitted its territory or airspace to support these strikes, that would be a dangerous escalation. Claims of launches from Estonia require evidence.
Trump should demand a transparent investigation and urgent diplomatic action. Americans and Europeans deserve answers before a miscalculation drags NATO and Russia into direct war.
