It’s a privilege to be able to write new musicals and something I never take for granted. Nothing is more exciting than to be able to give new talent a brand new song and watching them shine. 🎭
Sorry to hear that the fantastic American movie actor Tom Skerritt has died. He was in and brilliant in two of my all time favourite films, Top Gun & A River Runs Through It. A great career. A wonderful actor. A sad loss. RIP. Stu x

Season hasn’t even started yet and Newcastle United have suffered a huge loss. Eddie Howe leaving is a major blow. Must be frustrated about the sales - Gordon, Tonali, probably Bruno - and the lack of direction from upstairs. Gutting for Newcastle fans to lose a manager of Howe’s calibre. Who can they get who is better?
Howe will be in demand. If the FA hadn’t given Tuchel a contract extension, Howe would be a shoe-in for the England job. If he wanted it. Howe is so highly regarded within the game that there will also be clubs watching the situation - and the form of their own team and performance of their own manager. #NUFC
Thank you Tim Rice for the kind invite to the opening night of Jesus Christ Superstar @LondonPalladium @SamRyderMusic was superb as Jesus with a fantastic cast all in fine form. Highly recommend this new production of Tim & Andrew‘s timeless classic rock opera. Go see!! Stu 🎶x

“Early on, I learned that when I tuned the world out, I was able to tune in to a mysterious, God-given music. It was my gift, and it allowed me to interpret and understand emotions I couldn’t articulate.”
