#HeadlineChallenge result on retired jockey Henry Brooke launching a business hiring out luxury toilets to outdoor events.
Photo-finish but Ian Melling wins it by a nose for UNDER FARTER'S ORDERS. New challenge soon.
First task of the morning. Working out which ‘news’ posts on here are real and which are fictitious. ‘What to trust’ has become the biggest question facing anyone trying to keep up with world events. Sad state of affairs.
The winner everywhere except the line but what a season he's had.
Heartbreaking to see Arapaho Gold beaten by a pixel in the opener on Champions' Day at @Ascot but so proud of the horse. There will be more big days ahead.
How a pocket watch that once belonged to a World War One airman led to a British Empire Medal being presented to a County Durham man.
A timely honour...my latest column for today's @TheNorthernEcho

Delighted to be covering the Prince Regent Street Trust staff conference at @GisboroughHall today. A lovely trust supporting six primary schools on Teesside, with lots of positive stories for us to tell.

Good luck to Marc Mason, from Great Ayton, who is about to tackle his 100th marathon in aid of the Middlesbrough MS Therapy Centre. Marc is chair of governors at @Arete_Stokesley, and setting a wonderful example.

Apologies, Saturday’s paper.
This pocket watch belonged to an airman shot down in World War One.
It was handed down to a little boy in Sedgefield, starting a collection that grew & grew over 74 years.
Last week, the 'boy' was honoured with a British Empire Medal.

Well said.
Whether you’re woke or MAGA, Christian or atheist, red or blue, surely everyone can agree that the leader of the free world responding to the horrific death of a vulnerable young man in a tiger enclosure by sharing footage of his terrible fate, and then posting an AI-generated version of the encounter portraying himself as capable of surviving it, is sick, deranged and profoundly disturbing.
Whatever that AI video was supposed to demonstrate, it was an appalling display of narcissism and a complete absence of basic human decency.
And it shames America. It shames the country’s reputation, and it shames the people who put this man in the White House.
This isn’t about being left-wing or right-wing. Millions of Americans voted for Trump because they are conservatives, because they believe in family values, personal responsibility and freedom. Yet their president routinely behaves in ways that make a mockery of those very values.
I’m a Brit watching from afar, and I’m not interested in any whataboutery. There’s plenty about my own country and its political leaders that I find deeply shameful.
But I genuinely cannot think of a British leader in my lifetime who has displayed quite such a grotesque combination of infantility, offensiveness and narcissism as the current president of the United States.
This isn’t strength. It isn’t humour. It isn’t owning the liberals. It’s the behaviour of a man who appears incapable of recognising that the suffering and death of another human being should not be turned into an opportunity for self-glorification.
It’s utterly shameful.
The sooner Donald Trump leaves the political stage, the better. And I sincerely hope the midterms mark the beginning of that process.

Swimmer @ArchieGoodburn has inoperable brain cancer but he’s reached the top of Government with his impassioned campaign to help others through improvements in care for those with the cancer that’s the biggest killer of under 40s. Incredible young man

A family in mourning pleaded for understanding and sensitivity. Instead, the President of the United States thought it was funny to share a video of a mentally ill man being mauled to death by a tiger. Trump has no judgement, no class, no humanity.
