WSW CHAMPIONSHIP # 1 CONTENDER TOURNAMENT — ROUND 1 The WSW Universe has been rocked by the shocking return of Stuart De Bryune! Can Ariel survive this devastating threat? Ariel Nightshade @ArielSamue22925 (The Black Diamond Corporation) Vs Stuart De Bryune @StuartDeBeWSW

The crowd's chants grow deafening. Stuart takes in the sight of the audience, his expression remaining largely unchanged as thousands of voices welcome him back. Ariel remains in the corner, barely moving, unable to take his eyes off the man who has just transformed his tournament match into a nightmare. The referee enters the ring and looks between both competitors. He signals for the timekeeper to be ready, then gestures for Ariel and Stuart to take their positions. The camera pulls back to capture the entire arena as the WSW Universe erupts in deafening cheers.

Inside the ring, Ariel backs into the corner, gripping the ropes as he watches Stuart approach. His eyes follow every movement, his earlier excitement replaced by the desperate hope that somehow, someway, this isn't really happening. Stuart reaches ringside and climbs onto the apron. He steps through the ropes, enters the ring, and calmly completes his entrance. He doesn't approach Ariel or threaten him. He simply stands in the centre of the ring, finally turning his head to look around the arena.

Stuart De Bryune stands beneath the entrance lights, his expression cold and composed. He makes no grand gesture, offers no greeting, and shows no interest in the chaos unfolding around him. He simply looks toward the ring and begins walking. The audience chants his name, growing louder with every step. Stuart doesn't stop to acknowledge the noise. He walks with the same unsettling confidence he carried before his year-long absence, as though he had never left and everyone else has simply been waiting for him to return.

Then the music hits. IT'S @StuartDeBeWSW !!!!!! Ariel's smile vanishes. His eyes widen, and he takes an involuntary step backward. He looks toward the entrance stage as the realisation begins to settle over him. His knees buckle, and he drops to the canvas, staring ahead in disbelief. For the first time tonight, Ariel Nightshade looks genuinely terrified. Michael Hayes: WAIT A MINUTE! NO! YOU'VE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME! IT CAN'T BE! The crowd explodes as a familiar presence finally emerges onto the stage. MICHAEL HAYES: STUART DE BRYUNE IS BACK! AFTER A YEAR AWAY FROM WSW, ONE OF THE MEANEST MEN THIS COMPANY HAS EVER SEEN HAS JUST RETURNED!

Rick slowly turns away, raises his headset to his ear, and speaks to the official stationed at ringside. Rick Myers: Get ready. Right now! The broadcast cuts back to the arena, where Ariel Nightshade is still waiting inside the ring. He notices a sudden shift in the production team's behaviour and looks toward the entrance stage, trying to work out what has happened. His earlier confidence returns briefly as he rolls his shoulders and paces around the ring. The crowd's anticipation builds. The arena lights begin to change, and Ariel turns toward the stage with a grin, expecting another competitor he can overcome on his way toward Alex Fury.

Official: Rick, we've found a replacement for Stryker Steel in the tournament. Rick turns toward him, his brow furrowing. Rick Myers: Who is— Before he can finish the question, a figure calmly steps into view. The camera remains positioned behind the newcomer, never capturing his face. But Rick sees him. John sees him. Alexander sees him. And all three men fall silent.
